Fiona creates colourful and playful collages using hand-textured, cut paper. She enjoys the simplicity of shapes and contrasting colours as well as combining cutting by hand with the flexibility that working digitally provides. ‘I illustrate purely because it’s what I enjoy, and I’m chuffed that I’ve always known that making in some way is what I want to spend my time doing. I enjoy the whole process, from noting down ideas, sketching, cutting and Photoshop assembling to the less exciting parts like packaging, emailing and researching.’
