IT'S TIME FOR THE ANNUAL DOGYDAYZ ART POST!! Sorry for being inactive here, for anyone interested, I have a Bsky I use far more often now (DogyDayz there too!). I mostly stepped away from Tumblr because I just felt like my work wasn't exactly meant for this platform, but Scourge being one of my favs who I have VERY specific ideas abt and interps of also contributed. I can't exactly help how particular I am about him (or Fiona), and being a system with both of them as headmates doesn't do much to help either, so I just decided to stick to my friend groups. BUT!!! Here I am to dump some art! If anyone cares at all, I've also gotten super into EXEs and Sonicpastas alongside MaxDesignPro, so if anyone wants to see that art let me know and maybe I'll get more active here!

Anyway, the Metal Sonic featured here belongs to @the_reaplet and is a part of our collaborative RP storyline! The guy who looks real messy with the head bandages is also my anti-Jules interp, who's unique from probably every other interp probably solely because he's not actually a bad person. That art is of him possessing his necromanced body, also part of that storyline with Salsa.

And, yes. My Fiona design has gold eyes. Because it looks better.

Calling all those who are knowledgeable in Scourclipse or Eclipse as a character!

Hello, people of the internet! I once again come with another predicament. This time less concerned, more curious. I've been looking into Scourge rarepairs as of late because I've been bored and wanted to have some fun — I also desire to make a short video/animation centered around my favourite Scourge ships, so I've been interested in learning more.

So far, I haven't seen much ships which have caught my eye, but Scoureclipse in particular has been.. Ringing my attention, I'll say. I know all of the issues in which Eclipse appears in and from what I remember I have read his wiki fully, however I haven't read his issues yet, so I don't know his character very well, especially in terms of personality.

First what I want to ask, how does Eclipse act? How is he, what are his goals and what arcs as he went through? I feel as if this is important to know, because a key part of a ship is the personalities of the two characters, I also just wanna learn about Eclipse in general. I know he's related to Shadow, but what else?

And as for the second question, I'd be intrested in knowing — what do you Scourclipse fans see in the ship? What interests you, what is the potential? How would it be if the two interacted in canon, and what could be done by the two if them if they did meet? How would they benefit each other? I'm very curious about this topic, I always find that ships have SOME sort of potential that is always intriguing, such as Sonourge and it's HEAVY identity crisis based issues, and other ships like Fiourge, where both Scourge and Fiona are heavily flawed characters, and thus are, I'd say, very codependent on each other and have a LOT of potential because of that as well. What is the deal with Scourclipse? If they had interacted in canon, what would their potential be?

Very cute mental image: The night after escaping the No-Zone prison Scourge fell asleep next to Fiona, just nuzzling against her soft fuzzy cheeks and making little happy chirps. She thinks it’s adorable and pets his ears in his sleep. They kind of twitch under her fingers, but he’s used to her scent and doesn’t pull away like he would for basically anybody else. It’s basically his body saying he feels safer with her, and she purrs and wraps her tail around him to keep him that way.

I want to know does Scourge realistically have a chance in staying with anyone in the long term? I just know not even Fiona sticks with him for very long it seems.

in canon, the dating pool is actually so small for him for one reason or another.

but do i feel bad, no cause he messes it up for himself…but come on…

Sorry for the late response, I'm on holiday right now so I'm a little busy, but I personally feel as if Fiona is the longest relationship he's ever had. Sure, they were supposed to break up, but w/ how long they somehow managed to stay together, i really do feel as if Fiona was the best partner he's ever had. Well, not the best, (COUGHCOUGH SonicCOUGHHHHH), but, y’know.

In my au, Fiona is still w/ Scourge, but they are VERY toxic. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but they're definitely still unhealthy and NOT on the road to get any better. But, enough about Fiourge, I need to ramble once more to actually answer your question.

I personally feel as if the only way Scourge will get a shot at a long term relationship is if he improves — fix his mental health, fix EVERYTHING about himself. But it could also be that he finds somebody who really resonates w/ him, and in that they can both equally make each other worse. ORR if you wanna go down the sonadow(Sancourge) path,, then perhaps it could be a situation in which.. OughhhIM AAAA I LOVE THIS OKAY WAIT,,

I actually have my own thing in my au where Fiona is still w/ Scourge but she feels as if he doesn't love him because Scourge can't help but fall for Sanctum each time he sees him, like there will be times where he's w/ her and she'll be like “Did you even hear me??” and he's like “Yeah, whatever, Sanc’,” and then immediately switches to “I MEAN-” or something like that. But then Fiona meets Sanctum and is like “oh wait omg I get it,,” and so while she's a little jealous for awhile, they all end up getting in a polyamorous relationship.

I just realized this is more or so me discussing my takes on certain ships abt Scourge rather than awnsering your question.. Either way, I kinda did, did I not?

(Also bonus, but I also hc that Scourge and Sonic are actually exes. If you do wanna know more abt that, feel free to ask, bcuz I am SOOO ready to ramble abt that :]])
