OoC: Continuing Role Plays

So yeah, I'm really back this time. I've been taking a bit of an extended absence to work on role playing that I had going on over on other sites. Now that I'm seriously back, I need to address some role plays that I've left unattended to that I'd like to pick back up.

OoC: Apologies for My Absence

I feel awful for just disappearing again without any forewarning, going a while without replying to my threads or anything of the sort, so I feel I at least owe an explanation.

I've been off Tumblr lately for three reasons: the first is that I have this thing called "school" which now takes up about half of my day (a pain, isn't it?). For the second, I've been reading comics. I've developed an infatuation with the Spectre, a character published by DC, and I've been working on tracking down and reading material involving him. Lastly, I've been role playing -- but I've been role playing off-site. I spent a very long time learning HTML for an application on one forum-based RPG and I'm pretty happy I was accepted there.

But, I'd like to get back to role playing on this blog as soon as possible. I'll be cranking out daily replies on no time again, and hopefully keeping up with my dash too. Sincerest apologies to everyone I've kept waiting.

Theseus was walking, like usual. He listened to the birds chirp and that made him smile. But he stopped in his tracks at the sense of a human. He looked around, and finally saw a woman in the distance. He just looked at her to see what she would do.

Being kicked of the team, the red head really had nothing to do at that dump they called a base. Or 'warehome' as Nightwing might have called it, ugh, where did he come up with that one or why, Arsenal won't know nor does he want to know. He slumped down onto the crappy couch that was there, turning the television on, not paying much attention to it though, tinkering and messing with the robotic arm instead, he really just needed some noise in the background, too much quiet was slightly annoying, since the base was pretty much entirely empty by that time, people either off on missions or wherever else they had to go right then.

Set Fire To The Rain

Laurel shivered, rubbing her arms through her rain jacket. The sky had suddenly opened up that morning, the clouds already a murky gray, pouring out rain. Real fun for her, especially when Stephanie had called saying that her class had run later and so she didn't have enough time to pick her up from school.

She also didn't have an umbrella.

Yup, she could already tell it was going to be a bad day for her. Her gaze caught sight of another girl, with dark auburn hair, walking past a mail box a few metres in front of Laurel. Hmm. Wonder where she was going- just about every other kid Laurel knew was getting picked up. 

So what was she doing out?
