When Aunty Angie heard about my skirmish with Hong Kong Kitchen in Glen Innes who wanted to charge extra for the spring onion & ginger topping for Uncle's roast duck kway tiaw th'ng, she made me 2 tubs of spring onion & ginger oil, one with soya sauce, the other clearer one with sea salt. She also told me how to make it properly so now I can add this as a topping to soups, roast and barbecue meats and this morning it tasted heavenly with a boiled egg.
