BLUE EYES INTENSELY FOCUSED ON ADELAIDE, a heavy gaze that tried to read him, not his expression, but his overall demeanor... it was clear in her eyes, he was a broken man---maybe? Here he was, his voice felt rough against her ears with the heartbreak they spoke about, a disease that could kill just about anyone ( so she believed ) & she found herself drawn---intrigued by him.
