Author’s Notes: And here's part two of the thing. Just like the previous chapter, using rebornica's interpretation and AU for the characters. Also I remembered a little too late that they commented that Mike would be like the Scrooge during Christmas, so ahaha...Let's just say Doll convinced him not to be so grumpy this year? This story's a little on the long side too. Also, Merry Christmas to the people who celebrate it!
He didn't know what he was supposed to wear to meet Mike, and not to mention his father had kept him awake for a few hours with taking out his drunken fit of anger on Jeremy.
He woke up with his entire body feeling like it was on fire, and not to mention it was already 6pm when he woke up. He didn't have the time to carefully pick which clothes to wear. Jeremy just grabbed his most comfortable sweater and pants before rushing out of the house and to the pizzeria.
Jeremy had planned to go to the pizzeria on foot, but certainly not by running. But that was what he was doing now - Running to the pizzeria. If only his father hadn't beaten him up last night, if only he'd woken up earlier, if only he'd known that he'd end up losing sleep because of his father...
Why did everything he wanted to do go wrong? This was all his fault. He kept messing up everything. He was such an idiot, a failure, a...
"Oh hey, Jeremy!" Snapped out of his trance, he found himself hunched over with his hands on his knees and panting, while standing in front of him was Mike. Had he reached the pizzeria without even noticing? Mike was standing in front of him, looking mildly surprised and amused at the same time, "have you been running all the way here? You could've just called me if you thought you were gonna be late, y'know."
"I-I-I'm sorry, Mike." Jeremy mumbled, before straightening his back, his head still tilted downwards. Mike's hand made it's way back to Jeremy's shoulder, and his smile could practically be sensed even though Jeremy wasn't looking.
"It's totally fine, Kid. C'mon, I'll call a cab. You don't look like you can walk another meter without falling over." He patted the younger man's shoulder one more time, before walking to the edge of the curb and flagging down a passing taxi.
~~
Mike's house wasn't huge, but it was nice and homey. A Christmas wreath hung at the wooden door, and fairy lights were hung all around the perimeter of the room. The Christmas tree in the furthest corner of the room had colourful bulbs and candy canes hung all over it, a yellow star at its top emitting a warm glow. The fireplace had two Christmas stockings pinned, the mantelpiece having a vase of bright red roses and a framed picture of Mike and Doll together. Even the cushions on the couch had Christmas themed covers.
"Mikey~ You're back! Oh, is that Jeremy too?" A head poked out from the kitchen for a few seconds, before Doll emerged entirely, smiling at the two who had just entered the house.
"U-Um...Y-Yeah! H-H-Hi there!" Jeremy scratched his cheek, feeling his face go red once more, a little nervous and not knowing what to say.
"I'm so glad you could join us for Christmas today! Mikey's told me all about you!" Doll smiled widely, whilst earning a sheepish "Doooollll" from Mike, though he didn't really seem annoyed.
"So, Kid, you hungry or anything yet? I think the food should be ready by now." Mike patted Jeremy's shoulder again as he spoke. The younger male was about to decline, but as if right on cue, his stomach rumbled. Jeremy felt his face grow even warmer, realizing he hadn't eaten since he'd gotten home from work that morning.
"You sound hungry alright! No worries, the food's ready! You two sit down and I'll get it out!" Doll gestured to the dining table, before heading back into the kitchen. Mike casually pulled out his own chair and sat down, and Jeremy hesitantly did the same. He silently examined the table cloth instead of looking at Mike, rubbing the velvety red-and-white checkered cloth in his hands.
Within a few moments, Doll was back out with all the prepared food. There was a plate of roast turkey and another of prime rib, as well as three bowls of oyster stew. Jeremy was admittedly taken aback at the sight of so much food. He knew those were Christmas foods, but he had never actually eaten them on Christmas before. He could've just stared on in a slight daze, but Mike and Doll had already begun to dig into their food, not to mention his stomach had started to growl even louder, so he tucked into the food as well.
~~
Doll's food was the best he had ever eaten in his entire life.
The dinner was delicious, and so was the dessert of custard Doll had brought out later. Complimenting Doll's cooking had earned a very delighted "Thank you!", right as Doll disappeared back into the kitchen to dispose of the used plates.
Mike ushered Jeremy to move to the couch, and there the two of them sat, soon after joined by Doll.
"So, anything you wanna do, Kid?" Mike asked their Guest. Doll's eyes were on him too, and Jeremy felt himself feel nervous all over again.
"I-I...I don't h-h-have anything in m-mind, actually." He squeaked, fidgeting with the fabric of his pants nervously.
Mike and Doll looked at each other, before speaking in sync, "You know what that calls for? Christmas movie time."
Mike picked out a CD of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and slot it into the TV player, shot a playful glare when Doll said that Mike "should have picked 'A Christmas Carol', since he normally acted like Scrooge", before flopping back onto the couch and allowing the movie to play.
~~
Never before had Jeremy thought it was possible to have so much fun watching a movie, but he did. Mike absolutely adored commenting during the movie, while Doll had to hush him, earning giggles from Jeremy. Overall, he was sure that all of them had a great time. Hopefully, at least. Jeremy really hoped he hadn't ruined their Christmas by being with them and therefore in their way.
"By the way! Mikey, have you given him the thing yet?" Now Jeremy's interest was piqued. Had Mike given him what? The older male just chuckled a little in response.
"I'd never forget it. Just give me a moment, I'll be right back." Mike lifted himself from the couch, disappearing into one of the rooms. He reappeared a few minutes later and sat down beside Jeremy once more, a wrapped present in one hand.
"Here, it's for you, Kid." Mike handed the wrapped gift to Jeremy, beaming at him.
"B-B-But I d-didn't get y-you or Doll a-anything..." Jeremy slowly took the gift, his eyes inspecting the neatly wrapped gift. It was a small box, and it was just slightly bigger than his palm.
"You didn't have to get us anything!" Doll piped up, "come on, open it! Mikey picked this out just for you!"
With trembling hands, Jeremy did as he was told, carefully undoing the paper that wrapped the box. Mike and Doll watched him as he did so, and they seemed as excited as a child on Christmas morning, even though they weren't even the ones getting the present.
He felt his breath hitch when he opened the box and saw what was inside. A sleek black watch with white accents sat snugly inside the cushioned bottom. Although it didn't look like it had cost a fortune, it definitely didn't look cheap either.
"D'you like it? I didn't know what you liked, and I noticed you didn't have a watch, so I..." Mike chuckled, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. How could Mike be unsure about this? It was the best thing Jeremy had ever received during Christmas!
"I...I love it. Thanks, Dad." The whole room dropped dead silent. Jeremy felt his breath stop, slapping his hand over his mouth upon making that mistake.
"I-I-I didn't m-mean it!" He blurted, his hand flying off his mouth. His fist clenched tightly around the box with the watch inside, "I-It was an a-a-accident! I swear! I-I just w-w-wasn't th-thinking a-a-and I--!"
"Jeremy. Jeremy, it's fine. Look at me." Mike knelt down in front of Jeremy like a father to his child, offering a gentle smile. "It's fine, I don't mind it. It was a honest mistake."
"I-I'm so sorry, I-I keep messing up e-e-everything I do an-and I-I..." The younger male could feel tears starting to well up in his eyes, his entire body trembling.
"No, Jeremy, listen. You're one of the greatest friends I could ask for. I love you like a son, even!" Mike ruffled Jeremy's hair, and that was the breaking point for him. The tears spilled from his eyes, which he quickly tried to wipe away with the back of his sleeve. Mike just enveloped Jeremy in a hug while patting the back of Jeremy's head, and Doll soon joined the hug, speaking gentle words of comfort to the crying boy.
Dear Santa,
I know I write to you every year, and I'm a big kid now. I'm still waiting, I'm waiting every year. I wish my parents would love me.
From, Jeremy
Jeremy's wish seemed to have come true, it was a Christmas miracle indeed.

Author's Notes: I honestly can't believe my first fic received so much attention, thank you all kindly! Since it's really close to Christmas, I decided to do a Christmas fic! And yes, featuring Jeremy again, because he's my favourite guard. Once again using rebornica's interpretation of the characters and FNAF AU. Also, the story doesn't really start yet on this chapter, ahaha.

Jeremy sighed as he glanced at the Christmas decorations that adorned the office. The fairy lights changed colour in a rainbow pattern, and there was a small Christmas tree in the corner. The Christmas tree even had a small pizza ornament at its tip. The sight of it brought a small smile on Jeremy's face. As poor as the pizzeria was (judging from the salary the workers got, anyway), the pizzeria wasn't too badly decorated.
It's better than my own home anyway, Jeremy commented inwardly, before flinching at the thought. Sure, sometimes they had a Christmas tree, but that was just about it. Neither his father's mood nor behaviour ever improved anyway, even if it was the season to be jolly.
Stop it Jeremy, you're supposed to be watching the animatronics, he chided himself, before flicking on his flashlight to check the hallway. None of the animatronics were there, and checking the vents showed the same result. Looks like none of them had decided to ambush him while he was spacing out, fortunately for him.
He gave himself a slap on his own cheek for being so absent-minded, before putting up his tablet and winding the music box to distract himself from his thoughts. The Prize corner had been decorated as well, the Marionette's present changed to a red and green colour scheme. Actually, the entire pizzeria had been decorated for the upcoming holiday. The staff had even given the Toy animatronics Santa hats. It was a little sad to think about it really, but even the robots had more Christmas spirit than him.
No, don't get him wrong, it wasn't that Jeremy hated Christmas. He just felt more or less indifferent towards it. Christmas was never different for him, he didn't really see any reason to look forward to it. If anything, the holiday felt worse than every other day because it was supposed to be a happy time, yet it was never different for him.
He lifted his head, only to jump from his seat. Mangle was hanging from the ceiling above him, her two heads shockingly close to Jeremy's own. He gulped, before nervously offering a smile and waving his hand. He knew Mangle wasn't going to hurt him, and not to mention she was one of Jeremy's favourite animatronics, but that didn't stop him from being a little nervous.
Mangle (and Endo) smiled and waved back at him. And they looked like they wanted to strike up a conversation, but the familiar bell chimed, signalling 6am had reached.
"Merry Christmas, Jeremy!" Mangle beamed, before spider-crawling out the huge door that led to the hallway. The extra endoskeleton head turned around and managed a "Merry Mememas to you, Jerememe" of his own before the animatronic disappeared down the hall.
Jeremy looked down at the tablet in his hands and sighed, before placing it back down on the desk. Now that his shift was done, it was time for him to return home. Despite the pizzeria not being the most homely place, he really didn't want to get out so soon. But then again, he needed his sleep.
"Jeremy! You're here!" The young night watch jumped from his seat, letting out a pathetic yelp. The voice from before let out a chuckle, before Mike walked to the front of the desk and smiled at Jeremy, "Hey, no need to be so scared. It's just me!"
"H-Hi, Mike." Jeremy let out a shaky laugh, still a little surprised from earlier. He felt a warm hand on his shoulder, and Mike gave the younger male a grin.
"Say, I was meaning to ask. Do you wanna celebrate Christmas tonight with me and Doll?" Mike piped up, the question taking Jeremy by surprise once more. Celebrate Christmas? With Mike and Doll?
"B-But...I still h-have to do my sh-sh-shift tonight, so..." Jeremy twiddled his thumbs nervously. It wasn't that he didn't want to be with those two, but he had a job to do, and he'd probably ruin the celebration anyway.
"No worries, I got Boss to let you have a night off!" The older man removed his hand from Jeremy's shoulder, "besides, Doll's already preparing to have an extra guest. It'll really be no trouble if you want to come on over!"
Jeremy blinked once, then twice. He was about to ask Mike how he managed to get the Boss to let him have a break, but he decided against it. Should he accept and risk ruining the two's holiday? But then again, it'd be pretty rude to decline...
"S-Sure thing, Mike. Th...Thanks." He forced a smile, feeling his cheeks grow warmer. He couldn't deny that he felt happy to know Mike thought about him, when he could've just spent quality time with Doll and leave Jeremy to his own business.
"For now, you go get some sleep, Kid. Come back here at 7pm, I'll pick you up and we'll go to my house together." Mike took off Jeremy's hat and ruffled the teenager's messy brown hair, before setting the hat back down and making his way further into the pizzeria.
Jeremy stared after Mike for a few moments, before turning around and heading out of the building himself, feeling tears well up in his eyes at the show of affection.
Why can't my own father be like that? Jeremy wiped his eyes with the back of his sleeve, before trudging his feet to make his way home.
Title: Played Me Like a Puppet
Summary: The very man Jeremy knew and trusted with his life was beating up his friends, how could he betray his trust like this? A certain purple spirit senses the teenager's conflict, and not to mention he could use a vessel to torment Mike with.
Characters: Jeremy Fitzgerald, Spirit Purple Guy, Mike Schmidt (mention), Animatronics (implied)
Rating: T, just to be safe
Warnings: Abuse (mention/implied), Assault/Fighting (mention)
Status: Complete
Author's Notes: I really like rebornica's Fighting Game AU, and I never knew I needed possessed Jeremy so much until that stream. Conflicted Jeremy is also great, so why not compile it into one story? (If it wasn't obvious already I'm really bad at writing ahaha) Oh, and not to mention the title's pretty misleading, but I couldn't think of anything else for a title so I didn't.

He could feel his breaths shorten with each one he took. He wanted nothing more than to call out, but his voice was trapped in his throat and could not escape. He wanted to rush in and intervene, tear the two fighting before him apart, but his feet were frozen in place. His body was forcing him to watch stock still as the man he trusted with his life pummeled his friends with hits. Blow after blow, and he didn't seem to be stopping.
"Look at him..." Jeremy jumped about a foot in the air, snapped out of his trance. Who was that? He looked around to try and see who was the owner of the voice, but he felt a cold hand on his shoulder, and he jolted to a stop once more. He shifted his halting gaze to his shoulder nervously, but he didn't see anything there.
"He's hurting all your friends...Do you like that? Do you really?" The ghastly voice sounded again, and Jeremy swore he could see a bit of purple aura drifting around, the source seemed to be behind him. He steeled himself and turned around, only to struggle to hold back a scream.
A translucent man was grinning at him, purple all over besides his face. But oh god, his face was terrifying. In those two wide eyes, Jeremy swore he could see flames, hatred, crime, too many horrible things to name. Jeremy could feel his vision clouding, all his negative feelings coming back to the surface at full force, suffocating him, just by looking into the eyes of the purple man.
"Wh-What do you want?" He forced the words out of his throat, feeling his heartbeat growing more rapid by the second.
"I can help you and your friends, you know?" Purple Guy moved his hand from Jeremy's shoulder, but that seemed to make his voice sound louder in Jeremy's ears. "Just let me borrow you body. I can stop Mike, I can save your friends."
"B-But how can I t-t-trust y-you?" He had tried to sound fierce and assertive, but it came out as more of a pathetic whimper. What was he to do? Should he leave Mike to destroy his friends, should he trust this Purple Spirit and let him do God knows what? Which one was the right thing? Was there any right choice in this?
"After all...You of all people must know what it's like to be hit for something you didn't do, right?" He felt his heart stop beating, his blood going cold. No no no no, they didn't deserve this. Nobody deserves this. How dare Mike how dare he how dare he. Jeremy felt his fists clench, his teeth clenched. Purple Spirit placed both his hands on Jeremy's shoulders, forcing the younger male to look into those bright red eyes. They caused Jeremy's emotions to flare. No, he couldn't allow this. Mike needed to be stopped.
"I accept." His voice was solid for the first time in a while, "Mike...Mike can't do this. Mike can't do this. You need to stop him, please." Purple Spirit laughed, a hollow and cold laughter that made Jeremy feel like knives were stabbing into him everywhere.
"No worries, I'll put a stop to him...Once and for all." The Purple aura exploded in size, enveloping Jeremy's body. His anxiety and panic flared, trashing about and struggling to free himself. He tried to scream, but his voice was caught in his throat. Jeremy felt himself choking, his vision dotting black and his limbs growing limp by the second.
"Just stop fighting, Jeremy." The voice sounded in his head, loud and resonating that caused his head to hurt and his consciousness to slip even more. His breath grew shallower by the minute, Jeremy's vision almost completely gone by now. He could see nothing besides black and hints of purple. "It'll be easier for everybody. Don't worry, you'll still be able to see and hear what's going on when Mike and I have a little chat, but...You're not going to get in anybody's way."
He tried to call out to Mike one last time, but his voice failed him once more, and his vision faded to black.
