Kasper leaves work in a panic. Mercy Hospital and Franklin Nelson is all he needs, and he leaves his cell phone and bag at his desk, making a rushed explanation to Stevenson before taking off to the roof.
It’s risky, leaving from work like this, but he knows where Mercy is, and flying’s the fastest way.
It takes him seven minutes to get from the Oscorp research lab to the hospital.
Kasper morphs in an alcove near the helicopter landing pad, slinking his way down the rest of the building as a cat. Once he gets down to the ground level he finds a hide-spot and morphs human; and realizes that his shoes haven’t followed him. He’s got a sweater, and pants, and he hopes no one will realize the thick socks he has aren’t slip-ons shoes.
“Darcy Lewis,” he says breathlessly at the front desk of emergency, and the nurse looks up at him, concerned. “Please. Her- our, friend, Franklin, uh, Nelson, he’s- he’s with her. They, just came in. Where is she?”
