Hey I'm currently in the process of watching Barbarians (2020) for the fourth time. Why is this fandom so small?! Hit me with your predictions for Season 2!
For the fourth time ?! I see you have exquisite taste!!! I love what I just read lol. I'll probably rewatch the first season a month before the new season , because I too have exquisite taste . Why is this fandom so small ?!!! The lack of taste nonnie, the lack of taste, that's the only explanation... but that's ok, because you love it and I love it, so we'll fangirl together, we will be the barbarbarians fandom lol.
1- Folkwin/ Thusnelda: Will become enemies. It wasn’t confirmed but implied at the end of the first season that folkwin was the father of thusnelda’ baby, and he has sworn to sacrifice his first born to the gods if he can achieve revenge for his family, which he has. I think he will honor his promise to the gods and sacrifice his and thusnelda’ baby and she will hate him for it.
2- Thusnelda and Ari will grow closer ( fingers crossed )
3 - Instead of germanicus we will see ari’s brother flavus. Flavus will join the roman side, and he’ll march several roman legions into germanic lands on a several years vengeance campaign... Ari in season 1 chose the cherusci over rome but his brother will choose varus( vengeance) and rome over ari. I can’t wait to watch their interactions...that angst is going to be soooo goood !!!!! Two brothers who love each other fighting...I’m not ready...
4- Ari is going to try to gain the tribes trust and respect . If he wants to stay alive and win the “war” against rome he’ll need the other tribes help .
5- Thusnelda’ father won’t change , he’ll be busy scheming against ari.
