“Just breathe, okay? It’ll be all right.”
Ja’far did not understand why Sharrkan picked him of all people to wake. He had been nothing but hard on the boy. Despite that he supposed he had enough experiences with demons to help the young Prince hopefully conquer his. He takes a moment to stretch, expelling the feeling of sleep from his bones further before going to light the room. Once that is done he turns once again to face Sharrkan, moving to sit back down and gesturing to the spot next to him.
“There’s no need to be sorry, okay?” he tried to assure him, offering a faint smile. If Sharrkan joins him sitting he puts a hand on the other male’s shoulder, canting his head slightly to the side as he does. “Can you tell me what exactly’s bothering you? I might be able to help you figure out how to make it bother you less.” he explained, his own shoulders slumping. Honestly, they both were just lucky he was used to sleeping less and less these days and didn’t get irrationally angry at being woken up anymore. That would have been awkward.
