Dumb thot Lestat actually created the "magic trick door" just to impress Louis on their first night.
There was another door to the coffin room all along. A door with a tiny, flimsy piece of wood as "security".
A door that was actually “hidden” behind a weakass tapestry in the middle of the hall.
A door that Lestat himself broke on that fateful night (we don't talk about it).
A door that they never fixed, just kept boarded up with other flimsy pieces of wood.
The same door/not so much of a door Lestat crossed on his "final night".
I mean. We always knew Lestat was a dumb bitch but apparently Louis was never that bright either.
