What are you going to do?
As a project manager for the municipality of Perth you work on the realization of the investment program. Perth has a substantial investment program that includes various integrated projects.
You will manage large neighborhood-oriented sewer replacement projects and the Veerplein center project with the replacement of the quay wall along the Oude Maas. The Veerplein center project is creating an attractive and green residential area for visitors, residents and entrepreneurs, combined with the restoration and raising of the existing quay in connection with water safety with a good connection with the design of the outdoor space.
As a civil engineering project manager you are primarily responsible for the realization of civil engineering projects from A to Z. Central to this is the complex playing field with many different interests and ideas.
You set to work in a direction-oriented and enthusiastic way to achieve the set goals. Looking for cooperation with various stakeholders is a matter of course for you. You also have an open mind for all current developments and you are looking for opportunities to apply these with a broad base of support. You shape the projects from the beginning to the end. You thereby bear responsibility for progress, quality, communication and finance.
What do you take with you?
· You have a higher professional education and thinking level and a completed education in the field of Civil Engineering;
· You have at least 5 years of recent relevant work experience in a similar role and environment;
· You have knowledge of order administration, RAW system, UAV and UAC-GC.
· You are a driven, flexible person with extensive experience in process management.
· With your customer and service-oriented attitude you strive for the best results and you know how to achieve this.
· You communicate well and you know how to express the views of municipalities clearly. You can also handle administrative sensitivities, participation and working independently.

As a senior Civil Engineering Project Manager, you work in the realization department, which consists of 91 experienced and committed professionals. It is a dynamic department that is divided into four teams; Management and Public Space Team, Team Projects, Real Estate Team, Accommodations and Cemeteries and Team Execution.
We offer you an employment contract for the duration of one year with the prospect of permanent employment for 36 hours per week. Your salary depends on your knowledge, education and experience and is a maximum of € 5,067 gross per month (assuming function level 11 for a working week of 36 hours).
