I got to visit Fort Macon, North Carolina today! Even though it was a Civil War era fort I have to thank @tallmadgeandtea for providing me a perfect soundtrack (yes, it was Yankee Doodle music). This fort has so much history, standin hmm on top of 3 other forts spanning all the way back to the 1740s!
