Might as well get this question over with now. Are Emile and Remy gonna be in this AU?
Most likely yes!
I've debated on eventually adding some other characters for some time now, them included, but have not yet fleshed out their info or done any sort of designs for them.
So they will be eventually, but it will be later on and they won't be part of the household itself, rather friends from outside the main group!
That st**ky joke was just... Not even funny. It wasn't a joke. I'm straight and even I cringed. In the MCU they haven't stated it but have continued to put Steve with women as love interests. The comics may State otherwise but using a fetishised ship as an lbgt example when it hasn't been confirmed is awful. "But we love the gays!!" No you don't. You love fetishising them as a straight person and dub it inclusiveness. Please stop and let the lbgt community have their characters done properly.

Hai! I’m obsessed with your greasers lineup and I was wondering what canvas sized you use to create character sheets/line ups for full body? Finding canvas size is difficult. I typically use screen size on procreate for like doodles/sketching. I’m thinking about doing some for my own fic characters this weekend and I loved how you designed the greasers lineup up especially for Darry pony and Ace. So was wondering if you had any tips when doing character sheets/line ups?
Hi hi!! Firstly eheh thank you so much, I get so giddy to hear that people like my designs still. The post of the sketches still gets likes and reblogs and I’m always there like NO!! GO LOOK AT THE FINISHED ITS BETTER😭!! (mostly.. I don’t like the art on it anymore! maybe a redraw is in order for the future.)
I generally default to the screen size option on procreate as well (I have an 12.9 inch, so the canvas size is 2048 x 2732) and then size it as I please during the process. A lot of my stuff gets cropped down after being finished.
The designs were all made on a separate 1661 x 2732px canvas, which I then put into a 4595 x 2048px one. Obviously it doesn’t need to be that big either, you can resize it to fit your needs. When I’m workshopping designs I like to make a big ass canvas and just keep copy pasting to make new ideas.
As for general tips??
- Don’t try to rush through it, I brute forced pretty much 70% of the lineup in the first 2 days then crashed HARD, think it took almost a year to actually finish it 😭
- (Might be wording this one wrong) Push more information into it if you can. I usually find that more you can portray visually about the character’s personality is usually better.
Using my Greasers designs as an example. Think about the little things you can show, not tell: Are their clothes dirty from going out or being messy? Is their hair neat or unkempt? Do they slouch? What’s their body language? Do they patch their clothes or let the rips & tears be? Is their default expression a smile or a frown?
I like to think of it like this: Would people outside your media’s circle be able to look at them and read their character? Could they look and go “Oh, this character is ____”?
- HEIGHT GENERATORS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND. While I did my greasers line up by just eyeballing it (aka drawing them all the same size & then sizing them down) being able to actually vary the height works wonders.
I WILL NOTE, HOWEVER, if you have a real short character & you do the whole ‘drawn on another canvas & transferred over, then resized’ you will run into the issue of.. something like this.
It just doesn’t look right, yeah?
Overall, I’m no professional. Far from it, in fact, despite like 10 years of drawing experience lmao. Take my word with a bit of salt, and go have fun making those lineups!
First Meetings
Darry and Paul met when they were around 15 while waiting for word about football tryouts. Young and not traumatized Darry becomes besties with a Young and still traumatized Paul, 'cause Paul was the first person who looked at him as more than just another Cursed.
Paul was smitten at the first compliment
darry
Do you have like, a second sense for this man bc how did you know I was thinking ab him today. How did u know that.
being asked if you have ever been touched romantically is actually so funny i fear its awful ragebait
It got a genuine laugh out of me. Scrolling through their replies to Forsaken artists is entertaining because a lot of it is just really poor attempts at getting a reaction.
Was fighting demons to not respond to them with “Why? You asking to be the first?” because I would’ve had to unblock them for them to reply
You guys are sat good okay.
I don't even think I can classify this as an AU because I had zero ideas in mind for it beyond Parry. It's just so I can draw them being gay. BUUT IF WE ARE CALLING IT AN AU, this is what I got so far: - Darry & the rest of his gang (excluding Dally and Ace) are werewolves (funny little pack, as they should be) - Ace and Dally are vampires! Both were born as such. - Vamps and Werewolves are pretty common amongst Tulsa, even amidst the socs so there's no discrimination on that fact, just the greasers being poor. - Vampire Socs beef EXTRA with Werewolf Greasers though. - The book events happen pretty similarly to the ones in Cursed; Johnny and Dally live, Bob dies, you get the drill. - Paul and Darry also go through their "friends to lovers to enemies to enemies with benefits to lovers" arc here too. - Paul is NOT naturally a vampire. - The premise is simple though, happens after he's already dating Darry. Paul gets attacked by a few vampires (number to be decided & if they're socs or greasers to be decided) and was SUPPOSED to die after being food for them, but turned instead. They left just enough blood in his body for him to cling to life long enough to turn from the venom - Paul showing up at Darry's place covered in blood, sharp teeth n pointed ears, and 2 shades paler: "You will NEVER guess what happened lol (automatically passes out)" That's all I have for an actual storyline. Yeah gay people fuel. Steviepop is canon here bc they're all dumb dogs but I'm more focused on the Parry. This is the only doodle I've made of them its been a rough week so I haven't drawn much
