Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro
Assalamu alaykum! I just want to ask anyone here about their opinions about the Bangsamoro Framework Agreement? You can send me a fan mail or just post it in my ask. Shukran! I just want to be more enlightened. More on the ups and the downs if this will take place. Abolishing the "failed experiment" of the late President Ferdinand Marcos which is the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. For years, it only lead to the loss of lives of hundreds, maybe thousands of people. ARMM is known as one of the poorest regions in the Philippines. Corruption and violence is very prominent in this area. Sad to say. Please don't get me wrong, but yes, I am one with the Bangsamoro and ALHAMDULILLAH! this is one big step in improving one of the poverty-stricken region in the Philippines. But, I do have a lot of questions in my head. I don't even know where to start. All I know is that, the transition of the governance from Autonomous Region to Ministerial. From Regional Governor to Prime Minister (?) I haven't read all the Annexes yet, I'm still reading it at the moment. Why is it only with the MILF? MILFs were MNLFs before. Don't you think this will have a big impact on them? And also the Abu Sayyaf's and the BIFFs. Will it be fair to everyone? Especially with the interracial towns where Christians and people of other beliefs reside? I just hope that this won't be another anomaly especially on people's personal interest with power and money. INSHAALLAH everything will turn out positive and fair. I hope that the future leader will be just, especially on empowering the Muslim Ummah in Mindanao especially the Mujahideens and the Mujadiddats.
