All joking aside..
I think the issues with leffens visa suck. Its super sad to see such a huge player be denied access to a national tournamnt.

If have not done so, you should sign this petition: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/uscis-should-recognize-all-esports-legitimate-sports-so-international-players-can-come-us-p1-visas It's really important, the goal is to get the US to recognize eSports as real sports so that international eSports athletes can compete in the US, as many top players (like Mexican 15 year old Smash 4 prodigy MKLeo or TSM and Red Bull's Swedish godslayer Leffen) have been denied Visas recently. It takes less than a minute to sign, and you don't have to be from the US to sign. Please share, the petition needs 30K more signatures by the end of the week.
I try to keep this tumblr thing pretty relaxed but right now people are trying to get esports recognized by us as athletics so international competitors can get temporary visas to compete. It was started because leffen, one of the top 4 melee players is currently having huge visa issues getting into the us. If any of you guys feel inclined to sign the petition, the link is http://bit.do/freeleffen. Hope the rest of your day is good :)
Smash Bros fans, and or eSports fans in general. I’ve recently found out about how Professional Smash Melee player William “Leffen” Hjelte has been deported from the US. I want people who do eSports for a living to be able to come out of country to apply for visa in the US. People make livings off this! But if one can’t simply go to the US because eSports “isn’t a legitimate sport” how else will they be able to apply for a job in the US, or go there at all without abandoning their passion for some other job? I say people should be able to have the freedom to come to the US to play an eSport. Please, sign the petition. Get other friends of yours to sign it. Anything to help! Please. Many people could have their lives changed if this petition is signed. All you have to do is read, type your name, and email address. Simple. So please consider signing. Reblog this as much as you can too to get the word around.

eSports players, please read this.
If you don't already know, there is a Hashtag going around on Twitter known as #FreeLeffen. This is about competitive Melee player named TSM|Leffen being denied a P-1 Visa (Which allows athletes and competitors from outside of the US to compete legally in the US, for those of you that don't know) simply because eSports is not fully considered a sport. Now, the reason why I'm asking eSports players as a whole instead of just Smash players or Melee players is because of this: out actions right now could change eSports forever. There is a petition (linked below) that states that the USCIS should consider eSports as legitimate sports, therefore allowing eSports players like Leffen to obtain P-1 Visas. This could help all eSports scenes to attract players to travel to tournaments more, allowing for more growth in the scenes. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/uscis-should-recognize-all-esports-legitimate-sports-so-international-players-can-come-us-p1-visas If we get more than 100,000 signatures, we could change the course of eSports. So please, take the time to sign the link.
Legitimately why isn’t Leffen back in America playing video games yet? Thanks America.
