Waiting for my 152 hexagons for the blanket tondry in the batches of 5 i stacked them in for blocking.
Started a new project so the wait isn't too long.
This is gonna be a simple vest, knit in one piece.
I'm gonna bind off a few stitches once i reach the armholes, break the yarn, knit the back piece first, and bind it off while keeping the front pieces on the needles. Then I'm gonna part the yarn so the colour gradient for both front halves is more or less equal and continue. I want a v-shaped neck so I'll have to measure and count stitches so the shoulders won't be too narrow and the v deep enough. I'm gonna connect the shoulders either with a 3 needle bind-off or crochet them together with the white wool yarn. The white yarn I'll also use for the buttonband, "collar" and shoulder ribbing.
Buttons will be a topic for later. I have several different wooden buttons but idk right now whether they'll be too small. We'll see.
