as a german who literally lives in the area where the short takes place, i can say that I have never ever seen a bird that looked like ganymede

The closest I’ve seen as far as birds go in Germany ( as someone who did a lil online research so I’m no expert ) is the Bohemian Waxwing and the Crested Tit.

Same order ( Song Birds/ passeriformes ), different families ( Waxwings/Bombycillidae vs. Tits/Paridae ) so cross breeding is hard to see?

Is he a recent mutation? Is Omnium radiation to blame? Is he an entirely new species? Who fucking knows? Blizzard sure as shit doesn’t. Or if they do, they sure as shit won’t tell us.
