Disney Frozen 2 young Agnarr and Iduna pin ❄️🍁💙
So there is a new short serie coming? Animals of Arendelle: Lost and Found.
First one is called "Arendelle's village Storytime Stackers", and second one is called "winter fun with animals" Source
For me this is one of the most beautiful images of the "Frozen 2" merchandising.
I love this picture so much, so I had to cut it out especially... for me and for all who are in love with this awesome couple!
This is a snippet from my other post with the complete story of how Kristoff, Sven and Olaf got their fancy outfits.
FROZEN//FROZEN 2: Lieutenant Mattias replaicing Hans is kind of odd ...
And not just with the merchandise, but also with the promotional material itself:
Not that it was wrong to promote the new character F2 brought us, but the way they used Mattias so heavily really feels like they were trying to fill a "logical hole" Hans left behind, so they had to use a character with similar elements, related more to the formal and royal side of the "demographic", most importantly a man, to "balance" things out (2 female protagonists, 2 sidekicks and 2 main male characters). Still, it's kind of off for me most importantly for two reasons:
1- Mattias is much older than the protagonists (50/60 years more likely)
2- Mattias is a secondary character, with very little to share with Anna, Elsa and Kristoff in terms of actual "narrative weight"
It's not a critic, just a little detail I find strange, that's all ...
On Sunday the 18th, I was lucky enough to see the Frozen Broadway Tour!!! And it was amazing! I could search for the right words to describe the flood of emotion this show made me feel, and never find them. I got to take a selfie after the show with Caroline Bowman too - which guaranteed trying to think enough to find words was and is still just out the window, gone on a cold wind! I wanted to share my Frozen Gaybill (..pride playbill) and the siggies I was able to get. Also, as part of the VIP package we got these beautiful books that talk about the show and have wonderful photos! My photos of the photos don't do them justice obviously lol. I just picked a few but there are many. This book is too big for my scanner or else I would have done better! Also, the Anna in these photos was not the one actually in the show that night, this was a previous actress. My WORD though the Anna we got could absolutely BELT she was gorgeous, the whole cast was gorgeous. I hope I can see this again someday!
When Frozen II came out, I made the smart move by buying all the storage chests I could find right away, and they are among my most treasured possessions in my collection. I got the smallest one at Home Goods and the other three at Michael’s.
A few months after I bought them, they were no longer being sold in these stores, which made me realize that paraphernalia like this which are made off of popular movies are only in stock temporarily, and that it’s difficult to find and purchase them elsewhere afterwards.
That being said, I didn’t take the initiative to buy all three of the main chests made for the original Frozen when that movie was released, and as I correctly predicted, finding them online in the years since 2013 has been very trying. Still, I wanted to try and get them all so I could complete the collection of them from both movies.
And after a lot of struggling to find them in the last two months, I finally did. 😉
While it was easy finding two of the chests on eBay, along with a much smaller one (which was the same size as my smallest Frozen II chest), finding the Elsa chest was much harder. As I struggled to find it, I tried searching on other places like Mercari and Poshmark, and it was on the former site that I found this Elsa chest.
Since I wasn’t sure whether I would find the chest I was seeking, I decided to buy it just to have another to add to my collection. I love it a lot, but initially, I was a bit disappointed that it was the same size as the Anna chest.
After using some different key words to continue to search for the last chest, I was ecstatic when I found it on Mercari, so I instantly bought it. 😁 But a week later, the seller canceled my purchase after realizing the chest had a bit of significant damage that she didn’t mention previously. Following some difficulty in communicating with her and trying to see images of exactly what kind of damage the chest had so I could decide whether I still wanted it, I finally decided not to buy it. When I made that decision, I felt like it was a miracle that on that same day I decided to cancel, I found the chest in better condition on a Facebook market! 😁😄👍🏻
During my searches, I discovered that the four chests (excluding the medium one with Elsa) were part of a five-piece set, with the final chest featuring Elsa and Anna images, and being the same size as my pink Frozen II chest.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find this last chest, and while I’ll continue to look, I’m not going to feel defeated if I can’t. I have all the chests I sought to go with those for Frozen II, so I still feel happy. 😉
I was at a JCPenney store and decided to check out the Disney section. Most of the merchandise seemed to have been on the shelves for a long time. There was a nice frohana picture on the wall.
To my surprise, I found this guy on the plush shelf!
I went to another JCPenney store and found her on a random shelf! Yay!
They both have some dirt on them due to sitting on the shelves for God knows how long. They’ll be getting a wash before I put them in my room. I’m so happy that I could add the couple to my Frozen collection!
