LEAN ON ME ➝ GABRIELUX.
The holidays just weren’t the same anymore. When she was younger, this time of year had always been Gabriela’s favorite. October meant Halloween, followed by she and her siblings’ November birthday, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas. That all seemed to have changed now, though. It was like she was one of the only Lopez’s who could be excited anymore, and she understood why, but it broke her heart a little bit.
She’d been serious when she’d told Lux she wanted them to feel comfortable in she and Dani’s house. She wanted them to treat it like their home, too. With that in mind, Gaby had been careful not to bother them too much, not wanting to be that annoying sister who hovered around. It was becoming increasingly difficult when she’d barely seen anything of Lux this whole time, though. Gaby needed her sibling, too. Not for any particular reason; more so just that she missed them. She had for a while now.
With a little time to herself, she’d attempted to busy herself with cleaning, but had soon wandered upstairs and to the room she and Dani had given Lux for the week. She didn’t recall seeing Lux going anywhere this morning, which meant they were probably hiding out in their room.
“JoJo?” Gaby began cautiously, knocking softly on the door and pushing it open a little bit, “It’s Gabs. Can I come in?”
