Quinn looked at the boy amused for a moment, “You seen those weird Japanese game shows? How in order to win you have to jump in a weird shape to make it through? That’s leaving out the front door of the Fabray house. As for your mom not even knowing- I doubt it. I think she knows ore then you want to believe. I think all moms worry more then they dare let on.” Quinn took his hand sand stood up walking next to him towards the counter, “Well I for future references I’ll keep that in my mind..” The blonde walked to the line pausing next to him, watching the way he moved wondering if there was a nervous tell he might have or if he really was this relaxed regardless of any situation, “So what’s this secret that no one knows about you Sebastian Smythe? This little detail that you seem oh so worried to keep to yourself?” she narrowed her eyes looking at him as she stood waiting crossing her arms behind her back as she spoke softly, “I doubt it’s that you’re a serial killer because what’s the chances we both are?” The girl smirked a little hoping that her sometimes awkward words came in a more soothing mannerism, she knew that even with bad jokes sometimes they tended to snap people out of the uptight world that she even knew she lived in with her own mind.
Sebastian raised a brow at the very specific reference, nodding his head. “That is a very specific reference, maybe you should try to find another way out. As for my mom,” he ended the sentence with a non-committal shrug and a half-sigh, half-unbelieving sound. “I hope you will, it is terribly inconvenient having to stand in this line myself,” he teased. He felt himself tense again once Quinn brought up the entire reason they had agreed to meet, afraid that he wasn’t as successful with shaking it off this time. He did let himself give her a small smile as she smirked. He leaned into her, his own eyes narrowed, “You were prepared to be the Bonnie to my Clyde, I’m not sure it should surprise you if I am.” He leaned back, shaking his head. “No, that’s not a secret, I’m very well known in that field. The actual one is, uh,” he licked his lips, no longer able to meet her eyes. “A bit more sensitive, I suppose. Not quite... coffee line conversation.” He added, glancing at the couple behind them before stepping up to the counter. He leaned over the counter to the barista, giving his order and looking back at Quinn for a long moment, “You look like an iced coffee kind of girl.” He looked back to the barista, “And an iced coffee.” He passed his card over and turned back to Quinn, “I hope you don’t mind, but I am a risk taker.”
