I mean if you are gonna kidnap someone off the street for your sex ring, at least do some basic research on whether someone powerful is gonna care and miss them and turn stuff upside down.

Like - it would not take long to find out that the heir of the freaking warlord clan is super invested in the girl you plan to kidnap.

Isn't it the whole thing with successful traffickers and serial killers? They go after people who won't be missed because they have nobody (nobody anyone would pay attention to at least) to notice or care if they are gone. Even the Huo trafficking ring normally uses orphans.
