More on Antigone and Rudyard’s past melding with their present
I firmly believe their mother was an alcoholic for a few reasons. The first being the siblings’ aversion to alcohol, neither of them drinks much or tries to drink. Rudyard actively avoids even touching a drink and when he does hold one, he doesn’t drink it. Antigone is seen to go wild after one glass of gin, but otherwise she doesn’t drink at all in the series. We aren’t really given a reason for why they avoid it, but upon listening to the Funn Fragments, it kind of becomes clearer. In “At Home in the Dark”, Rudyard mentions how Antigone was closer to their mother and she responds with ‘as close as anyone could be to her’. While this could just mean their mother was as equally depressed as her daughter, it occurred to me that she could’ve been a cold and distant alcoholic. It would explain why Rudyard is so uncomfortable around the drunk undertakers and why both of the twins prefer not to be near alcohol.
If any of you have more thoughts on this, please rb this with them.

So far Funn Fragments seems to be Chapman has a really bad time as he tries to audition to be in the Funn's found family, and I'm loving it
He's a lonley boi
still thinking about how we were robbed of Rudyard getting a dog, and also happiness
Thank you new funn fragments episode for acknowledging that Rudyard plays the mandolin
