I couldn't really get into Mekakucity Actors bc of those scene cuts which are identical to bakemonogatari's which I did watch most of...but got tired of after the fact.

There is definitely a certain way to do it, and I don't know if I am critical about it, but I don't feel like I am. If it's overused though, it is definitely screaming "I have no way to hold your attention, so I am going to do jump around in the hopes you will want your questions answered"

The only reason I like Baccano! is because I felt like it had purpose. The whole series is a ride, and most of the story is centered around an incident that occurs on a train.
