Last night I made a super yummy dinner! My husband and I just recently got married this April and I haven't made him a nice steak dinner in a really long time, so I decided to make him a new recipe and I was very please with it!
I first made a Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak from Rasa Malaysia (http://rasamalaysia.com/garlic-butter-brazilian-steak/). I pretty much followed the recipe exactly minus that I cooked the parsley in the garlic butter sauce instead cause... well I’m not the biggest fan of parsley and I don’t like it raw haha. But I feel like it gave the sauce more flavor as well and I was real happy with it.
Then I decided to try something different to compliment my steak. So I made this Grilled Asparagus with Balsamic and Parmesan from Yummly (http://www.yummly.co/recipe/Grilled-asparagus-with-balsamic-and-parmesan-358233). This one I was real proud of myself. The recipe asked me to grill my asparagus first but my husband was asleep and I don’t totally know how to work with a grill so I decided to pan-fry my asparagus in the same pan that I pan-fried my steak. And not only that I pan-fried it with the balsamic vinegar instead of placing it on top after cooked. This cause greats amount of flavor in my asparagus. Then after cooked I placed the parmesan cheese right on top.
This meal, I get it 5 out of 5, I loved all the flavor and I would totally make this for my husband again!! And he ate his way to fast too haha.
