Dr. Reid exited the other vehicle rather quickly, the unsub still had the advantage of the terrain they were at. Being as observant as he was, he noticed that Dakota had left her bag in the vehicle prior to exiting. "Kota your bag," He used his longer arm reach to grab the bag from the floor of the vehicle. He immediately felt the buzzing of her phone going off. Side eyeing the caller idea through the opening in the bag, Mace. "Whose Mace?" "Doc, use your perceptive skills. I left my bag in the car for a reason." Reid watched her hit the ignore button and shove her phone in her back pocket. She tossed the slightly lighter bag back towards him and he instinctively caught it. A look of shock crossed his face before he tossed it back onto the floor. "Ooh someone's getting the cold shoulder, pretty boy." Derek chuckled as he passed the Doctors figure. "Come on, we got work to do."

Plot Bunnies: Leila Prescott
Leila Prescott was a Final Girl- at least, according to the media.
She had survived the Boogeyman while babysitting Halloween night as a teenager; that was more than anyone could say for her friends, who were all brutally murdered that night.
As a result, Leila had grown into adulthood with a lot more PTSD than most people could handle- except for the other Final Girls. They were women like her that had gone through horrific incidents and come out the other side with a reputation and trauma. The group of them would meet and try to work through the traumas together, to varying degrees.
Until the first of them is found dead in their home.
One by one, Final Girls are being picked off.
When the BAU gets involved, Leila is skeptical they’ll be able to help, despite their professionalism. After all, hadn’t the authorities fumbled the bag so many times for this group of women before?
It doesn’t take long though for Leila to discover some long-lost hope though, despite the knife looming over her head- and maybe something more.
