NEXT TO NORMAL (2024) - Wyndham’s Theatre
This moment is one of the ones that has stuck out to me the most. How he falls into a crawl, grasps his stomach and reaches up.. oof.
In his life, little Gabe experienced tremendous pain (falling to the floor, crawling) with an intestinal blockage (very painful).
He didn’t know what was happening to him, just pain and mom and dad. “Catch me I’m falling, please hear me calling” as he reaches up.
Despite that young couple taking him to multiple doctors- knowing something wasn’t right..The doctors failed that baby who cried and cried as he tried to tell them as only babies can that he was in pain, and ultimately he died. “Catch me I’m falling. Faster than anyone should. Catch me I’m falling for good”
The choice to embody that as his mom remembers.. 💔💔 Jack Wolfe is phenomenal in his acting choices!
