i loved the poly bau fic!! could u maybe do one (featuring poly bau, ofc) where everyone spends time together and say something like ‘glad we’re all here’ but forget to invite reid so his anxiety (and all the abandonment issues from his dad) kicks in and he thinks they don’t love him anymore but they realize what they did and go to his apartment and cuddle him, kiss him and watch his favorite movies and essentially just coddle him to death? (sorry if that made zero sense, i live for poly bau)

It was seldom that they got the opportunity to all hang out together, as a group. Normally, they convened at Rossi’s house, because it was the biggest out of them all and it was the easiest to gather a large group of people in.

They weren’t doing anything that seemed too exciting, just playing some board games.

“It’s nice to all be here together.” Morgan commented.

“It is.” JJ agreed before glancing on the clock that hung on the wall. “Anyone seen Reid?”

“I thought you were giving him a ride.” Penelope said.

“I thought you were gettin him, Pen.” Aaron commented.

After a few more accusations, they all realized their mistakes.

They forgot to invite Reid.

They hurried over to his apartment as fast as they could. It seemed a little bit too little too late, though. When they got there, he was sitting on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket with red rimmed eyes and dried tear tracks covering his cheeks. It seemed that seeing them show up brought up a fresh round of tears.

“Oh, so now you want to see me.”

“Spence…”

“You forgot about me. Do you know how that feels?” His bottom lip was wobbling by then, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.

“Spencey.” And the dam broke. He was full on sobbing, messy sobs, clutching onto himself, body shaking.

They were quick to surround him, wrapping him up in a tangle of limbs and just letting him cry, murmuring promises of love to him, telling him how they’d never leave, how they’d never want to leave, how they loved him so much.

The tears slowly subsided, though he still clung to who he could. “D-don’t… don’t g-go.” He stammered.

“Spencer, baby, as long as we live, we’ll never leave you again. And we’ll make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Because we love you so much.” They all chimed in with various noises of agreement.

“You promise?”

“With all our hearts. We love you.”

He cracked a smile. “I love you too. All of you.”
