Après un café avec un artiste, et un Diner digne de ce nom on prend la route pour Gavelston à une heure au Sud de Houston, dans le golfe du Mexique. Et là gros changement de paysage, c'est tout de suite la station balnéaire, mais en hiver, ce qui nous plaît beaucoup. C'est un mélange entre les bâtiments années 50 peints de magnifiques couleurs et la plage des années 80 à la sauce Baywatch Plein d'endroits pour les touristes sont fermés ça donne un côté désuet et un peu hors du temps. Il y a notamment cette grande jetée avec un parc d'attractions entièrement fermé, il n'est ouvert que le weekend et les mois d'été bien sur. Je trouve ç très beau. Notre hôtel est vraiment sur la plage et on est super contents de cette étape où il n' a pas grand chose à faire à part jouer dans le sable et regarder le ciel. Lou s'amuse à "appeler les pompiers" avec le téléphone de la chambre.
