@ofbrochtuarach ; my most precious gingerpony gran/ grannie fogden \(^.^)/    i always get so happy when i see you online, and your cuddles and kind words mean the world to me. no matter what, there’s always someone’s warm arms i can seek solace and comfort in and you can do the same in mine any day, any hour.    you are so wonderfully talented, and although times tend to be rough, you must know that i will never stop believing in you and your ability to work through anything !! you’re so unique in the best ways possible and an amazing person and writer, and i wish you all the best in life. <3

hello, it's just me being my curious self: what are your thoughts on adam as an individual, and on adam and jane together? c: ( ofc mean jane the virgin! )

hey hey!! so, i have varying opinions on adam. 

when it comes to his relationship with jane, if i’m being immature, i’m skeptical. i mean, he’s a cutie, but it feels like they made him up all of a sudden and are telling us that he’s important, and it’s just like ??? you spring the fact that jane almost got MARRIED to this kid four seasons in without ANY mention of him (that i know of) beforehand?? and i get that with the telenovela basis of the show big stuff like this happens with no warning, but it feels like it’s such an important part of jane’s background and we got no lead-up whatsoever. they always seemed to imply that michael was jane’s first big love, but with the introduction of adam, it takes that away from their relationship which i think is a shitty thing to do to the love of all our lives michael cordero jr, and it’s also a shitty thing to do in regards to jane’s character. they’re treating this almost-married thing like a lil “oh yeah, that happened! lol kids, right??” but in my opinion, jane would have been more affected by their breakup than she seemed to be or would have even MENTIONED it at some point. so, i think it was poor planning on the show’s part, and also, it was just so sudden that we’re immediately jumping into their relationship, and i just wish they’d shown us more flashbacks of how they met and how they became a couple at first (bc i dont think they did at all?? if i’m wrong and forgot pls lemme know!) and things like that instead of just being like “these two dated! they almost got married! carry on!”

as for adam as an individual, i think he’s okay so far. he’s pretty adorable but also a lil one-note so far to me (also whenever he’s onscreen it feels weird bc i’ve only known him from all the teen wolf stuff ive seen on tumblr and it’s just like whoa! two worlds i never imagined colliding! it’s taking some adjusting for me, but that’s a personal problem). like i get he’s fun and cool and artsy and sweet, but i’m looking forward to when we get to see him rounded out better and see some flaws (besides his “immaturity” bc he’s not actually as immature as he was initially presented as proven when he was like “jane, if you had told me about that interview, i would have set alarms” and things like that. the writers are definitely calling out jane’s judginess with him and they’re resolving it together in a mature and thoughtful manner, which i think is telling as to how they want us to view the relationship. they want us to root for them) (i’d also like to learn more about his own background like the story with his sister and stuff like that. i think knowing more about him would help me to be more welcoming of his place in the show). the introduction of his own narrator is a bold move, and it signals that he’s “important,” and his song being the theme music is also a HUGE signal. the fact that they’re creating those kinds of parallels with jane means that they want to establish him as significant for one reason or another, and i don’t know if they’re planning on him being endgame for jane or maybe just having him be jane’s first serious relationship since michael’s death. my guess is the second? i think that his time with jane will be important for the both of them, and i don’t know if he’s going to become a regular or not now that teen wolf is over, but i do believe his character is important somehow (or he’ll just be around for a few episodes and i’m completely wrong?? but i don’t know, we’ll have to see! i don’t really look into the show’s news or anything so i have no idea how many eps he’s signed up for)

jkdhsfsd this got really long, but i hope something makes sense within the rambles!!
