The way that genderfuckery is almost always associated with lesbianism and little to never with gaynes is so weird to me. It's just... makes me feel like people only see nonbinary, genderqueer and otherwise not cis and not binary people as women/women-lite.
I've talked to lots of genderqueer and nonbinary people who are gay (as in veldian/turian), myself included, and I've seen them talking about the way it brings them joy or hardships, the things they face while being themselves. But I've never seen other queer people talk about it. I've seen people mention the way nonbinary, genderqueer and specifically transmasculine expirience intervine with lesbian experience, but I've never seen the same energy for gayness.
I just know that people DO talk about it but don't get nearly as much recognition as the ones talking about it in context of lesbianism and we MUST, as a community, change it and uphold them, support them, give them space to talk.
So, while on this note, shoutout to all the gays in or community!
Shoutout to nonbinary gays
Shoutout to agender gays
Shoutout to xenogender gays
Shoutout to multigender gays
Shoutout to genderfluid gays that's also me yaay
Shoutout to genderqueer gays
And finally shoutout to gays that don't want to/can't describe their expirience and identity with any words above!
If you'd like to share some expirience or positivity in this - please, PLEASE feel free to comment and reblog
