Trying to prove a point to someone who doesn’t understand why going to a new doctor would be anxiety inducing because “they’ve literally made a whole career out of wanting to help people, how could they do any wrong.” And “Why would you be scared of someone that spent years and years, went hundreds of thousands in debt, just to be able to help people?”

Fucking hell could you please like or reblog if you’ve ever been gaslit or fake-claimed or in any way mistreated or not taken seriously by any healthcare professional. Any details in the tags is appreciated too. I just need more people to understand that getting clinical help is often infinitely harder than it sounds.

society seems really caught up in gender-neutrality when I honestly believe it would be way more productive to focus on gender-inclusivity. it may seem ironic given my username, but finding ways to acknowledge and celebrate the bredth of gender rather than trying to flatten it into one single neutral point would probably make people feel a lot more in harmony with society at large and encourage a lot more cooperation.

eventually, I would love to see a world where gender doesn't matter. but I know it matters to people. To a lot of people. And finding ways to acknowledge that without enforcing gendered roles is probably going to help a lot more than erasing it entirely.

If you're complaining about certain gender identities for being "weird" or "hard to understand," I'm afraid to say you are part of the problem. Oh no, I sure hope gender and gender identity for some people isn't at all complex. Hopefully nobody has a gender that doesn't fit neatly into my socially constructed boxes.

Wayhaught Gender Fics

It's been a minute but alas, I make my return to Tumblr. Today's random topic is Wayhaught Gender Fics. Now, if you've been a follower of my own AO3 account, then you may have noticed that a lot of my fics are mainly Wayhaught written in not, cisgender fashion. I've got a trans Nicole fic, a non-binary Waverly fic, and an intersex non-binary Nicole fic (WIP). I love the fics that push the boundaries of canon and don't just write Wayhaught in random scenarios like one of them being in the military or being a teacher, photographer, tattoo artist, etc. But people go out of their way to write non-binary, trans-man, trans-women, or gender non-conforming fics.

I typically enjoy these the most because I'm non-binary myself and I love the representation and gender euphoria that these kind of fics bring. There's 2 authors I would just love to shoutout for being such huge advocates for writing gender-inclusive Wayhaught fics and that's BlueJayBoi whose written one of my absolute favorites series on the site, everything you need to know and odaatlover who wrote a beautiful fic that centered Waverly as a trans-woman called The Truth About Being Transparent

Although I have a couple of cisgender Wayhaught fics in the works, I make it my main mission to write lots of non cisgender Wayhaught fics just because I have met so many enby and trans Earpers in the fandom that I feel it's so important that if they one day find themselves on AO3 like I randomly did, they can find fics that represent a version of Wayhaught that they can better see themselves in. Alright, that's my ramble for today. Hope everyone's been well lately!
