The Outdoorsy Type [Silver & Korrina]

The base had gotten too stuffy. There was nothing to do there and too many people who gave him weird looks for coming back. He did his best to ignore them or even reciprocate the glares with one of his own scowls but he was tired. He needed to get out but he didn’t want to just leave again, that’d be quitting. So he had made his way outside the base decided to just hang around the perimeter of the property. 

It was while he was hanging around the base that he noticed a blonde he didn’t recognize. Not a big surprise though, considering there were a lot of new people in the area that he hadn’t met. He had been gone a long time after all. He hadn’t even realized he was staring at her until she looked in his general direction. It’s not like he had meant to stare he was just trying to figure out who she was.

He glanced away in embarrassment, cursing to himself under his breath. He took a chance and glanced back only to see that she was still looking in his direction. Either she was staring at him now or there was something more interesting than him in the area that he hadn’t noticed. He gave an awkward wave in her direction just to see if it was him she was looking at.

Forest Search | Korrina & Ellie

It was rare that Ellie didn't have anything to fix at HQ. She figured that by the time she came back to HQ after a week, that there would be plenty to do. Even the missions were scarce. So she thought it would be a good idea to take a walk through the forest, rather than sit in her dorm room.

"It kind of sucks that there isn't really anything to do at Team Rocket. But hey, at least we get to enjoy this nice walk." The ginger pat her Meowth on the head, with her feline giving a happy meow in return.

"Although I have to admit, it seems to be taking forever to get to this pond." This didn't help that the forest seemed rather secluded. Peaceful of course, but secluded.

180 || Citron + Korrina

He didn’t have much of an appetite nowadays.

He sat alone in the breakroom, picking at his lunch, which consisted of salad and bread. Don’t get him wrong—objectively speaking, it was as good as salad could get—but he didn’t have much of a will to eat. Rather, he wished he was sitting back at home with his family, eating lunch with his father and Bonnie. But he dispelled the thoughts; it was no use for Citron to think of such things. Instead, he focused on his agenda for the day. What he had to do.

He had a deadline a while away, but Rocket was gracious enough to schedule a mission the week before, so wasn’t like it was necessarily a convenience. He had to submit his proposal to his supervisor, then he had to run his uniforms down to laundry, and then he had to start on those emails. Citron wasn’t really looking forward to doing any of it, but such was the daily grind, and he could be made to do much worse. He supposed he should be thankful.

“’Molga,” Hawking chirped, and Citron responded by handing it another crouton. He pet it as it nibbled away, then let out a long sigh before taking a sip of water.  He figured he should finish soon if he wanted to get started.
