They're still out there, just beyond the stars.
All you have to do is make a heartfelt wish."
Summary: Your main purpose in joining your dream university was to achieve your life long career goal and you were certainly ready to face the trials that would come with it. However, you did not expect that one of them would be you becoming the campus heartthrob. Oh the horror!

"Naviaaa, I am already full eating your cupcakes!! I don't want more!"
"But (Name)! I made these macaroons just for you! You definitely have to have them!" Navia insisted as she tried shoving her macaroons into your arms with a pout. Ever since you became roommates with Navia, you were constantly rewarded with her delicious baked goods. Sometimes, they can be too much, but that was Navia's love for you. Among other things, she loves to hog you to herself, pouting whenever you need to leave for classes even when she had them too at the same time. Almost as if she'd rather bunk lectures and stay with you. Which is what's happening at the moment.
You were supposed to be on a study date with Lauma in your favourite cafe. Lauma was very adamant about studying with you as you both shared the same classes and figured it was easy that way. However, Navia seems to not like that idea despite you wondering how she could know about the arrangement. Now you feel bad thinking about Lauma, who practically begged (but not really) to study with you. You will definitely make up to her, for sure. You sighed, "Navia, I promise you I will have them, but not now and...oh archons, I have to come up with an excuse to Lauma now."
You glanced at Navia with mock annoyance who pretended to look anything but innocent, twirling a strand of hair while looking anywhere but you. You huffed and stepped closer to her, face inching towards her own startling Navia. You murmured, "This will be the only time I will tolerate this behaviour. Next time, I won't be so charming with you, okay?"
Navia's face began to steam, mouth opening, and closing without words escaping. She stuttered, " Y-y umm, s-sure (Name), I'll be g-good haha-"
"Good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I actually have a group project scheduled at the library now, so see you in the evening?"
"Y-yes See you..."
You grinned slightly with a little smirk as you pinched her left cheek lightly. You then picked up your bag from your room, and Navia still hasn't moved from her spot. You swore you heard a light thud once you closed your door after stepping outside. Huh, must've been the wind.
.....
The walk to the public library was relaxing as you took your time, but something in your gut tells you that you are being watched. You looked around multiple times, and you couldn't pinpoint what or who. You didn't mind it that much, but the feeling kept continuing even after reaching the library and also after sitting down in your usual seat, waiting for your project partner. Could it be -
"You're here! Ah, so sorry to keep you waiting, I had to leave campus for lunch and then raced back as fast as I could -" Mavuika exclaimed, dropping her bag on the table with a thud, startling you as she continued ranting not before, Lisa, the assistant librarian intervened.
"Ahem. Must I remind you two that this is a library and not a market?" She asked, arms folded in her chest. The two of you apologised, however, you swore Lisa looked at you up and down with a tiny smirk before she left.
"Anyways - so where were we?"
"We are actually almost done with our dessitation, and we only need, I think -"
"Ahh, yeah, the conclusion!"
The two of you began working and gossiping at the same time. She said that she was sure she might run late because she almost crashed her bike speeding here. But she didn't. If not, she wouldn't have gotten a scolding from the one and only Xilonen. You wondered if she was drunk since her cheeks looked a little flushed. Also, she had high tolerance and also would have em any time of the day or night. You didn't mind, of course, but you were a little concerned it might hinder the progress of your project that was almost about to finish. Safe to say it went smoothly, and you both finished the project on time.
"Holy shit!! We did it! I wish I could kiss you right now, but we are in the library, so -"
"Why's the library stopping you?"
"Ahhhh, you, Charmer! I know what you're doing, you have to take me to dinner first you littl -"
"Well, it's almost time, wanna have dinner together?"
"..."
"..."
"You sly bastard...Not today though unfortunately I am a little busy, buuuttt I will consider another time." Mavuika replied bashfully, fully blaming the drink she had earlier to herself, obviously... You watched her leave till the exit, and before she could open the door, she turned to you, bidding a quiet final wave with a grin in which you returned.
You stretched your arms in exhaustion, and your eyes almost bulged out of your eye sockets at the fact that two of you took almost 5 hours to complete the dissertation. With a final yawn, you got up in hopes of getting back to your dorm before further delay. Lisa seemed to not be around, since most of the time she would not let you go without her knowing or spending some time with each other. Shame she's not around today.
As you walked out of the library, you once again felt the same sense of being watched. You sighed. "Columbina...I am not going to say anything if you come up to me like a normal person."
Right on cue, the dark-haired girl stepped out of her hiding spot and walked up in front of you with her hands behind her back, feigning innocence. This almost became a norm for the two of you, her stalk - I mean watching over you while you went on about your day. You sighed, crossing your arms. Before you could open your mouth to speak, she smiled, "So will you go?"
"Go where?"
"To dinner. With Mavuika."
"Oh, uhhhh, not quite sure...why are you asking?"
"No reason. Was just wondering." She replied, looking down at her feet while rocking her body sideways with her arms still intact behind her. You frowned, looking back and forth at the library and her, "Wait, you were the - I knew it was you!"
You swore you heard her giggle in which she had no intention for you to hear it. Almost. She stepped in front of you and smiled, "Since you're not quite sure if you would have dinner with Mavuika, why not have it with me instead? I am sure it will be much more fun for sure."
She was sure shameless in front of you when speaking about the others. You noticed early on how she doesn't mind showing off her jealousy to you. It's funny how it didn't bother you in the slightest. As long as she didn't hurt anyone, it was fine. You made sure of that. You replied carefully, " Well, I didn't say I won't go with Mavuika, but that doesn't mean I won't be going with you sometime."
Columbina's smile twitched, and for a second, you thought that maybe you should've rethought your reply. She replied, "Well, that's a bummer...however I won't fail next time."
"Fail wha-"
And off she walked away before bumping your shoulder, affectionately. You thought that maybe you should think about what she meant but then realized that it's getting late and you best head back to your dorm. Wonder if those macaroons are still available.
