Of their many perceived, exploitable failings, Sanguis succumbed most often in recent to the sway of a particular ghost and his exploits. If he approached them with some silly or maybe bizarre prospect, they would follow for the sake of having the chance to adventure. Regardless--these treks never failed to turn up something...interesting. They found themself in league with the ghost again on yet another journey. Sanguis made their way with his company down a forested stretch of ground, uninhibited, until ahead them rose a barrier.
“This area has been restricted.” They turned, masked face looking to James. “I have no trouble clearing my way over the fence, but I must ask--you did say we came here for blueberries, didn’t you?”
A palm brushed over the links of the fence crossing the path before them.
“This is obscenely tall for a human barricade. What berries could be worth measures like this?”
