The book to screen adaptation on HR is extremely accurate and literally only minor details were changed. How can you belittle the author who literally CREATED the characters you love??? There is literally some basically word for word dialogue from the book to the show. Rachel Reid is not the next Shakespeare or Jane Austen; she’s not trying to be and that’s okay. And quite frankly I think you all can be a lot nicer to her because she seems cool and quirky and a bit awkward and most of all she did nothing wrong in how she wrote Shane and Ilya.

Sick and tired of y’all tryna demonise Santos for FOLLOWING PROCEDURE. “She ruined their relationship mimimi” THEY ruined THEIR OWN relationship, because they could not have a CIVIL conversation. Santos, did as she was supposed to, and reported a potential abuse case to the hospital social worker while they ran further tests to see if there was an underlying cause for bruising (as well as internal damage).

It is NOT her fault, that when her & the social worker tried to ask the father questions that HE blew up and made a scene!!
