Introduction: Cell Phones and Cancer

The Youtube video, "Disconnect: A Film on Cell Phones and Cancer" is a video which discusses cell phones potentially causing cancer. Scientists are trying to find out if the radiation levels given off by cell phones are enough to be concerned about. Leaders of Apple and Virgin Mobile even believe that it may be possible that cell phones cause cancer. Richard Branson of Virgin Mobile even states that it could be like cigarettes because we did not know that those were harmful at first. It has not been researched very much so it is still a young topic with little information. Although cell phones may have many good uses, they may potentially cause brain cancer.

Introduction

Gun control is a controversial issue that is widespread. With all the bad news recently there has been a much larger push for restrictions to be placed on gun ownership. While a lot of citizens are pushing for gun control to help make the country safer, criminals are also pushing for the very same legislation. If stricter gun control laws are put into place, less citizens will be able to protect themselves. However, there's no doubt that criminals could get their hands on firearms if they wanted to. Therefore, many criminals support gun control laws because it will leave their victims defenseless against their illegal actions.

Introduction

Beauty is not something that is defined. Many people have their own opinions of what beauty really is. Beauty can range from a painting to a person. In my ad beauty is created through make up and techonolgy. The ad defines what personal beauty for a woman could consist of. The sound, music, dialouge and the video itself all contribute to the defining of beauty.

"We are what we wear, we wear what we are". These are some of the lyrics that the music video "Wing$" provides for its audience. The strong use of tone, video/images and music gives the viewers a complete sense of the trouble and importance of consumerism in the world today.

Outlining Analysis "Cinderfella" Introduction

Love is universal. Unfortunately the young gay community does not always get to experience the love they deserve due to discrimination. The parody video "Cinderfella" models the Disney original "Cinderella" to present what true love really means. The story line follows a young man seeking his true love, Prince Charming, at the kingdom ball. His struggles to even get to meet his true love as well as the ridicule he receives demonstrate the same struggles that young gay people face. Song choice, video imagery, and the pairing of the images and lyrics show how people love in different ways.
