A duo of dnd characters, art and character on the right by @artoriarts

neither have been named yet but their deal is that they are both knights from different kingdoms that have been partnered together, but the one on the right is hiding many dark ambitions that will eventually put him at odds with the one on the left

The one on the left is a one armed knight from a family of draconic sorcerers, but he ran away from home and became a knight while constantly repressing his growing draconic power within, even going so far as to cut off his wings when they grow in and ripping out his scales, sometimes having to go to a remote area to let out his built up fire breath in one huge burst. He lost an arm in combat a long time ago and was forced to switch to a lighter weapon than he used to use, that being a lance. His draconically enhanced musculature lets him jump almost 30 feet straight up a few times and he uses this to always have the high ground.

(i forget too much of the one on the rights backstory for me to try to explain it but if arto wants to explain it they can)

my character on the left is Echelon, a monk/sorcerer mercenary who casts spells by pointing finger guns at people. they were raised in a monastery and trained to be a monk but after some unspecified event they went off the rails and used their training and natural magic to slaughter everyone else in the monastery so that nobody else could learn the techniques they used which means less people that know how to counter his attacks. he left and at some point started killing for money and eventually met the character on the right

character on the right is unnamed but nicknamed Secretary after the bird they based on, their whole deal is the holy rope shibari they wear keeps in a demon wolf they have within them and they joined Echelon to escape the boredom of a noble life i think? its been a while since we brainstormed them. either way the duo accept almost any job and secretary keeps echelon from working just for the fun of it instead of for money and is the only reason they have consistent food money
