5hrs+ metallic hair transformation. Swipe for video. The process... Had previously done a blue roots to pink ends melt on bleached hair. Colour was faded but the pink was particularly stubborn. (Had used a dash of SFX Atomic Pink in the mix 🤦♀️) did 2x KFT fading treatments on previous appointments to help budge it. But it just got brighter 😳 but looks like all the blue was out. So bleached out the natural roots (off scalp first, the re apply to scalp for the last 15min.) Loreal Multi-techniques powder and 20vol + Olaplex. Then did the same mix with just 6vol over the pink ends for just 10min in a last ditch effort to pull some more pink out. Results: level 10 all thru, but gold roots, pale mint green mid (the old blue had still been hiding in there!) and pale baby pink ends. On to coloring... Roots Loreal Majirel .11 + dash 1 + 20 vol for root shadow. Mid: Majirel .22 + red mix + 20vol over green mid. Left pale pink ends out for now. Processed for 35 minutes. When washing out at the basin emulsified the root colors over the ends for a minute to tone. Resulting in a soft pearly pink ends. Then mixed some .11 Richesse + 9vol to tone some stubborn areas on the ends further. Resulting in a mix of pale pearl and silver ends. Finished off with Olaplex #2.
