After Daenerys agrees to marry Hizdahr per the advice of Galazza Galare, Reznak informs her of the wedding garb for a bride according to Ghiscari tradition, a tokar of white silk, with dark red veils. The tokar is fringed with baby pearls, which symbolize fertility.

Just an observation, because I frequently think there are hints in ASOIAF about cultural origins:

Consider the appearance of the Valyrian Sphinx:

a dragon’s body and a woman’s face (ADWD Tyrion II)

And that of the Ghiscari Harpy:

the wings of a bat or a dragon, her legs were the legs of an eagle, and behind she wore a scorpion’s curled and venomous tail (ASOS Dany II)

Doesn't seem like the same at first, except—wings like a dragon, talons ... like a dragon, long curved tail... like a dragon, perhaps?

Minus the changed interpretation, these are both images of dragon-esque features with a person’s face—a woman's face, even. I think both of these cultural images might have a common source.

My new Targaryen generation! I mixed book and show canon.

Before dying of childbirth, Queen Daenerys I Targaryen had seven children with her third husband, Jon Snow:

King Jahaerys III "The Rebuilder" Targaryen, who healed the wounds caused by his mother's conquest and rebuilt King's Landing. He took after his father, with dark hair and grey eyes.

His sister-wife, Lyanna "The Silver Queen" Targaryen. Growing up as a ward of Lady Sansa Stark in Winterfell, she learned the arts of diplomacy and courtesy. Jahaerys and her had a son, named Aegon (not shown). She has silver hair and grey eyes.

Eddard Targaryen. A reckless adventurer, he spent a big part of his life travelling across the Seven Kingdoms and the Free Cities. With his wife Catelyn Baratheon, he became the first Westerosi Ambassador in Yi Ti, living there for five years. He looks Valyrian, with silver hair and purple eyes.

Catelyn Baratheon (the woman dressed in yellow), wife of Eddard Targaryen and second daughter of Gendry Baratheon and Arya Stark. She wrote a book about her life in Yi Ti. She and Eddard had a daughter, named Elaena (not shown). Catelyn has the Baratheon look, with thick black hair and blue eyes.

(Not shown) Rhaegar Targaryen, a sickly child that lived only one year. He had silver hair and purple eyes.

Emperor Gaemon I "The Restless" Targaryen. Ambitious and deceitful, Gaemon married his sister Missandei Targaryen and had two children with her, Daeron and Rhaena (not shown). After her death, he trained his kids to be ruthless warriors and dragon riders. He conquered Slaver's Bay, now known as Dragon's Bay, who had fallen into a vicious civil war, and proclaimed himself Emperor of Ghiscar. He has silver hair and purple eyes.

Missandei Targaryen. Names after her mother's deceased best friend, she was shy and deeply religious. After her death, Gaemon never touched another women and became obsessed with building a kingdom for himself. She looked like Daenerys, with purple eyes but brown hair.

(Not shown) Aegon Targaryen. Daenerys died giving birth to him, and he lived only for two days. He had grey eyes.

Oh, also, in this universe, Drogon and Rhaegal managed to lay some eggs before Rhaegal died, so dragons are back and stronger than ever!!

Jezhene, Erdem SS26

With the Sons of the Harpy killings continuing, Queen Daenerys Targaryen has every noble family of Meereen who is of dubious loyalty send her a child as a hostage. These children are made her cupbearers. Jezhene is one of them.

Qezza Galare, Erdem SS25

Qezza Galare is a girl of the House of Galare, one of the noble ruling families of Meereen. Her brother is Grazhar. She is a cousin to Galazza Galare, the Green Grace of Meereen.
