Plasma jolted up again, grabbing onto his tail like he would as a young kit. It was another night where he remembered short images of the pit he was once in. He tried to calm himself down by hugging onto his tail, large breaths in and out. Smoke coming out of his nose.

Everyone was asleep. It was only him that seemed to be awake. Good. Plasma liked knowing that no one else knew about these sudden nightmares or flashbacks that occurred.

Despite being a fire ghoul, it was still horrible for him. It felt like the pit he crawled out of was just another point of suffering. He sat in silence, slowly breathing in and out as he calmed himself.
