Hello my lovelies. I am so in love with my Diva cup. Yes it took three days to really get the hang of using this thing but let me say when all was said and done i was a believer. I now only have to deal with my period twice a day and when i go out there is no seeking that tampon/pad into the washroom with me. I love it!!!! The best thing I have to say is going out for a night out on the town and being able to leave my purse at home bit plus I hate caring that thing around. I ditched the pantie liners on the second night and have not had anything bad happen not spills no accidents no ruined panties. Which mean no granny panties whop-pie.

Overnight

So to continue on with my diva cup experience for beginners let me say this people make sure your awake before you change your diva cup!!

Last night was a pretty relaxing night. Iain and I had dinner watched a movie and eventually like every night I was ready for bed before him. So off I head to the washroom to get myself prepared to sleep.... as I am following my routine I empty my diva cup wash it and re insert it. This added about 5 minutes to my get ready for bed routine not a big deal. All was good!!

I hope into bed and let sleep take me away. Let me say this not have if to wake up in the middle of the night to change a tampon so so wounderful I’m loving this diva cup so much for night time. However in the morning Ladies make sure you awake before changing you diva cup... I woke up this morning and like every morning go to the washroom before I get my coffee, so while I’m there I decide it was a good time to empty and clean my diva cup bad decition. First I forgot to realease the deal before taking it out can u say big mess everywhere. Like so bad I had to get in the shower. Then like the idiot I tend to be without coffee I place it on my bathroom counter hop in the shower get cleaned up.

Now more awake because of the nice shower I hop out ready to tackle the mess I left behind and let me tell you this will not happen again. As the diva cup can be left for 12 hours tomorrow I’m having my coffee first. It took me a solid 30 minutes to clean my bathroom and disinfect it because blood is just not my thing when all was said and done this diva experience added an hour onto my morning leaving little time to get ready for work!! But oh well lesson learned for tomorrow!

Day one mother nature is a B***h

hey ladies and gentlemen. if you are reading this well thank you. 

So I had a friend ask me if I knew anything about this thing called a diva cup and let me tell you before today I had no clue. However I wanted to find out what this wonderful thing was that would help save the planet by creating less wast. How you ask so let me give you my example. I was a avid tampon wearing female.m My average period lasts 5 days. I am all about changing my tampon frequently so at the most every 6 hours. That’s 20 tampons every cycle or 240 per year, that I am now not going to be using. That’s just the environmental savings let talk money savings. If your like me and buy one box of 24 a time at the price of $8.50 a box you would be saving $85 a year and this if for the cheap tampons. So When all is said and done I decided to invest the $40.00 get a diva cup and give it a whirl... I am going to blog this journey for all you other women out there who are curious. 

So the way i started this is I wore the Diva cup for a full day not during my cycle so I could find out how to insert it, remove it,m the feel of it etc, without making a mess. I am so very happy i did this it made day one of my period so much easier. 

This thing i hate about this is how up close and personal you need to get with yourself. and when i say up close and personal i mean up close and personal. However being comfortable with my body it wasn’t a hard thing just uncomfortable. 

so how did day one go. I would say well inserting and removing it went easy it is hard to get out of the habit of changing it every few hours as this option lasts up to 12 hours.I have realized that we don’t bleed as much as we think. I did ware a liner so that if i experienced any leeks I didn’t ruin my clothing. Luckly with my earlier practice i was good to go. I have to say it is nice to have this in I don’t notice it at all it feels natural. Just like a normal day. 

I am worried about sleeping tonight however that is something we will have to see how it goes. For know I am giving this product a pass however you never know what the next 4 days bring

So i have been snapchatting this guys for a few days now and he always says stuff along the line of "i just have to say you so cute" but he hasnt asked me to chill or anything like that hmmm what does "cute" mean when a guy says it?
