When you try to dig up a memory and can't find it.
When I was looking back at my own posts, the one with the various art of my avatar got me thinking of the writing project that led to most of those gifts. Half a lifetime ago, but I remembered we also had a good musician in the group, known as Yun Cheolsu. It suddenly hit me that since I didn't have my own computer back in those days, I'd never been able to save a copy of the song he did for my signature character in the project. So I went digging on Internet Archive. Found his site from 2001. Found the page for the project, with links to all the songs he'd done. Was reminded he not only made one for my avatar, he'd created *five* for the supporting cast I'd made... as well as original songs for the characters of half the other people in the project. Felt guilty that I'd managed to forget that.
Hit the links to the songs, and found out Archive.org didn't preserve any of the MIDI files. Wanted to bash my head against the desk. Damn. Yes, I should have thought to do this years ago, but I didn't, so now Yun's efforts aren't getting the appreciation they deserved, and I can't get a reminder of what my own theme sounds like.
