HCs for Jotakak and their ways to comfort the other when they are feeling down?
Jotakak comforting each other when the other is down!
Over the course of their relationship, Kakyoin has come to know the telltale signs of when Jotaro is upset. For instance, he hides behind his hat.
While he would never take Jotaro’s hat off, he does cup one hand on Jotaro’s cheek and gently pushes the brim of his hat up so that he can see into his eyes.
He gives him a quick peck on the cheek and then tugs him along to the living room.
Then he gets the re-runs from Shark Week setup and goes off into the kitchen to make them both tea.
They snuggle up on the couch together under a blanket and watch. Kakyoin doesn’t ask what’s wrong, just says, “If you want to talk about it, I’m here to listen.”
As for Kakyoin, it’s kind of obvious when he’s down. His shoulders sag and there’s just an air of flatness around him.
Jotaro notices it pretty easily and doesn’t outright say anything about it, because he’s learned that Kak will deny anything is wrong so that he doesn’t worry.
Instead Kak comes down to see Jotaro cooking in the kitchen and straightening up the loose odds and ends. And when he rushes in to help, Jotaro just tells him to go relax.
Then he brings Kakyoin in dinner in the living room and pulls up a seat next to him, pulling him practically into his lap and holding him close.
“So? What’s wrong?” he’ll ask while brushing his fingers gently through Kak’s hair.
He just listens to whatever’s been bothering Kakyoin, holding him tighter if he notices that Kakyoin is about to cry.
Then they cuddle together. When Kakyoin gets tired, Jotaro carries him up to bed and takes care of whatever housework is left for the night.
Is something wrong, Jojo?

Maaaay I get HCs for playing and braiding with the jojos hair? :3c
This is so sweet I love it (also sorry for being so dead y’all, my anhedonia’s been kicking my ass lately)
Jonathan’s hair is on the shorter side but he still enjoys it when they put little braids in it and brush the knots out. Since he’s so active his hair tends to get knotted up and messy and it’s nice to have someone willing to help out with that, and just take care of him in general. It’s very relaxing him, usually putting him to sleep in the process. His favorite thing is when he uses hamon to grow some flowers and they braid them into his hair, which he enjoys showing off to his friends (Speedwagon, mainly). He’s the most cooperative and willing out of the JoJos when it comes to this.
Joseph’s hair is a poorly maintained mess that always springs back into place, no matter how much it’s styled or played with. This makes it pretty difficult to braid, on top of the fact that he won’t sit still long enough for s/o to get anything done. It’s hard to brush and Joseph complains when they do because s/o keeps getting snagged on the ton of knots scattered throughout his perpetual bedhead. So any grooming is out, but he’s fine with them curling locks of it around their fingers, or running a hand through it, so long they’re mindful of the snags.
Jotaro doesn’t particularly enjoy having his hair messed with, especially since it comes at the price of taking off his hat. His hair is too short to decently braid, this coupled with his aversion to most forms of contact means that it’s very rare for him to let anyone touch his hair - even if it’s s/o. On the few occasions they can, he’s usually about to go to bed because his hat is off and he’s more cooperative with cuddling and just contact in general. He doesn’t mind simple petting or anything, but his curl at the front is pretty pain sensitive and off limits to touch.
Josuke lets s/o do as they want with his hair on one condition; they don’t touch the pomp. Since it’s such a pain to take down every night, s/o usually helps comb most of the product out of it before he washes the rest. After that s/o brushes it again and puts it in a loose braid to try and prevent any overnight tangling. But he’s more hesitant if they offer to help him put his hair back up in morning, and still does most of the work himself out of fear of his signature pompadour not coming out right. But on the occasions where his pomp is down but he’s not ready to go to bed yet, he’s happy to let them fiddle with his locks until one of them falls asleep.
Giorno loves having s/o help him fix his hair and do the braid in the back. It’s a difficult routine that goes a lot quicker with someone else there; s/o is also always careful to never pull his hair or be too aggressive when getting a knot out of it. At the end of the day he enjoys having them brush it out before bed, or just braid and run it through their fingers while they talk about the day. On important occasions he’ll have them braid flowers into it for a little extra flair, and do the same for them if they want. He’s a little touch st
Jolyne doesn’t mind so long as they don’t mess it up too much, and even lets s/o touch her hair when it’s styled (so long as they’re careful). She likes to experiment with her style, and while she does like her current hairdo, she’s open to seeing what s/o can come up with their braids. If they want to help her do her buns and braids in the morning that’s fine, she trusts them with her hair, same goes at night when she takes it down again. But if they do anything she doesn’t like, it’s pretty hard to regain her trust in that department.
Johnny has very soft and fluffy hair, so it’s pretty hard to not play with it. Thankfully he enjoys it when s/o pets, plays, braids or does really anything to his hair and is one of the few JoJos who will actually ask their s/o to do that with their hair. His scalp is pretty sensitive though, so while stuff like petting feels great, having his hair pulled on hurts him a lot and s/o needs to be mindful of that. At night he’ll sometimes set his head in s/o’s lap and let them mess with his hair until he falls asleep right there.
Gappy doesn’t have enough hair to braid, or even much to play with, but he’ll still let them run their hands through it if they want. Though it’s not that relaxing to him, he does enjoy the sort of domestic feeling it gives. If he’s upset he’ll go find s/o and let them play with his hair (and wear his hat if they want) while he calms down and gets his thoughts organized. He’s not worried about it getting too trussed from all the playing since he can just put his hat back on over it, so s/o can mess with it anytime he’s not preoccupied.
