Nothing says "peak physical performance" like lighting up a cigarette between the 9th and 10th holes. This ad promises that your "taste buds" will thank you, which is 1962-speak for "ignore the science and look at how great these people look in cardigans." The "Micronite Filter" was the high-tech gimmick of the day, ensuring you felt "better" about your habit while sporting that healthy, outdoorsy glow.

Best rounds aren’t measured in strokes. ❤️
the thing that saved my golf game (and my dad's respect)
okay so here's the thing about golf with my dad.
he's old school. like, REALLY old school. no music on the course. no phones. "focus on your game" kind of guy.
but here's what he doesn't get: i NEED my phone.
not for instagram or whatever. i use it for the GPS app (because i'm terrible at judging distance), the scorecard (because i can't do math), and okay fine, sometimes i take videos of my swing to see what i'm doing wrong.
problem? my phone dies. every. single. time.
around hole 12, it's gone. and then i'm just… guessing distances. losing track of my score. and my dad's giving me that look. you know the one.
so i got this KDYNIX power bank specifically for golf.
it's small enough that it fits in my bag pocket (the one i used to keep granola bars in). charges my phone like 3 times. and it's not bulky or weird.
last weekend: played 18 holes. phone stayed alive THE WHOLE TIME. tracked every shot. even had battery left to take a pic of my dad's birdie on 17.
he still won't admit phones belong on the course.
but when i showed him the scorecard?
"huh. guess technology isn't ALL bad."
coming from him? that's basically a standing ovation.
anyway. if you golf and your phone dies and you're tired of pretending you know what club to use on a 150-yard shot?
this thing. kdynix.com
you're welcome.
i was crying watching this part😭😭😭🤣
