BUT YES he does! His 'tantrum room' is one of the old freight bays thats just repurposed for him to go in there and be big as he wants n yell It out or stomp around or whatever. Usually he just paces around and maybe shreds the walls a little but he cools off usually fast enough hes never end there too long lmao. probably has like titanium plates on the walls in spots on the wall just to shred. (imagine a long hallway with just freight doors on either side, theres no furniture or anything- and absolutely no staff allowed in) im falling asleep here rip but here's a eepy rendition of it

Atla/Korea thots.

So I was watching a "why Korra is good" (because it is and I like watching people stomp on the haters). And a common complaint is "Korra doesn't change from being a (flawed for various reasons) character!"

Now imma not get into it rn besides yeah she IS. That's her POINT. And those bozos clearly didn't watch past season 1 cause WYM SHE DOESNT GROW.

But then I realized smth.

You know who DOESNT have severe character growth?

Fucking Aang.

Like obvi he has a few flaws he learns to overcome. Everything HAPPENED because he ran away (I've seen people call it cowardice and selfishness but...also he's 12 and had just been put the burden lf the WORLD on him, I'd say he has a RIGHT to be scared). There's a few things he overcomes but overall I wouldn't say he goes through any significant personality growth?

BUUUT. The climax of the story? EVERYONE, is telling him *you need to change*. He already failed the world ONCE, this is his only chance, this is the ONLY WAY you can make up for what you've done.

And Aang REFUSES.

He runs away AGAIN!

For different reasons this time, but he still *runs* . Because he refuses to change who he is, he NEEDS to find a way that doesn't go against his beliefs.

And he's rewarded for it!

Korra on the otherhand is absolutely willing to change her morals. Season 1 Korra would have beat Kuivera to a pULP without hesitation and been SMUG about it. Season 4 Korra gave her SYMPATHY.
