The GOP’s Greatest Hits: Lies, Fear, and Faux Outrage (Remastered 2025 Edition)
Republicans are back at it again — remixing their all-time favorite track: “Immigrants Are Taking Everything and I’m the Real Victim.” 🎶
According to the latest AP fact-check, Trump and his backup dancers in the GOP are once again claiming that undocumented immigrants are getting free healthcare while “real Americans” are left to rot. Reality check: that’s a lie so bold it deserves its own commemorative plaque in the Hall of Manufactured Panic.
But sure, tell us again how hospitals are just handing out deluxe spa packages to migrants while the rest of us drown in medical debt. Next up on Fox: “New evidence that immigrants get free Teslas, beachfront condos, and lifetime Netflix subscriptions — all funded by your tax dollars!”
Trump’s campaign has become a carnival of deceit — the same tattered tent, new lies painted over the old ones. His enablers in Congress nod along like malfunctioning bobbleheads, too busy auditioning for cabinet spots in the imaginary kingdom of Trumpistan to care that none of what they’re saying is remotely true.
And the best part? They know it’s a lie. They count on it being a lie. Because fear sells better than facts, and moral decay looks great when you wrap it in an American flag and shout about “values.”
So congrats, GOP — you’ve turned disinformation into performance art. Only it’s not avant-garde. It’s just vile.
Newsflash: Undocumented immigrants do not qualify for most federally funded health coverage, such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace plans. The primary exception is emergency medical care.
This is false. Democrats say they are pushing for the inclusion of key health care provisions in the next congressional spending package.
