even though it's slightly inconvenient i love when Shazam retroactively identified a song i searched for like 3 weeks ago lol. new song added to the songs from the goth club playlist - danse/move by the dance society. it doesn't specify a particular version, just a plain title so for now i've added the extended club remix. it's late but i'll listen to a few versions and see what comes closest.

please try listening to actual goth music im begging. don't be a fashion goth. coldwave, death rock, goth rock and some post-punk. do yourself a favor.

Oh thank you for your concern 😄 well while I listen to a lot of metal/black metal and talk about it the most I do love a lot of music associated with the goth subculture! Some artists I really love are Scary Black, Big Electric Cat, She Past Away, Cinema Strange, Puppet, Bauhaus, Xmal Deutschland, and Skeletal Family. And plenty more so as not to overwhelm y'all with a long-ass list 😂 I'm always looking for more artist/song recommendations though so if there's any you think I might not know or just want to shout out I'd love to hear them 🖤 I spent most of my life being alternative but did not claim that label lightly or just because I wear a lot of black 😆 I chose that label not only because of my fashion but because of my love of the music, dance, films, etc.! We just keep it light n cheery since this is mostly a fandom blog, so it may seem "fake" to an outsider. I shout out goth artists on my about me page too! I don't need to prove myself to a random faceless stranger, but please don't make harsh assumptions based on one post 🖤 If you'd like to have friendly music chats I am here 🖤

I need someone to REALLY hear me out on this and I doubt there's much overlap in fanbase but something about some girls wander by mistake by the sisters of mercy (especially watch and kiss the carpet) has always felt kinda familiar to me and i just realized why. It sounds like radiohead. Not so much the vocals, but the instrumentals remind me A LOT of TKOL, especially EP stuff like Staircase and The Butcher. Please let there be one person who understands what i mean 🙏
