Just like that, Pesdo is saved, and it's time for Lansa to get his hands on a fancy persona zeushammer!!

Kelliar the persona zeushammer might have been an appropriate weapon for a sanguophage like Jut or Melissa due to its vampiric trait, but Jut is too familiar with his dagger to change it now, and Melissa is rubbish at combat. Lansa and Kelliar will make a fine pair nonetheless! Now all that's left to do is bond Tokori to that persona eltex staff and find a persona weapon for Mechi, and all the Jones siblings will have talking weapons! How fun!!

Third Time's The Charm

My first attempt at the Very Veggie Legacy Challenge ended prematurely due to a corrupted save file. My second attempt ended when my computer needed to be sent into the shop for repairs, and they had to reinstall Windows, which erased all my data.

So, as they say... Third time's the charm! 🤞🍀

Everyone, it's my pleasure to introduce Jade Gardener, the founder of the Gardener Legacy and our Broccoli sim for this challenge! As per the rules, she has the creative, art-lover, and high-maintenance traits. Her aspiration in life is to become the Lady of the Knits, and she loves green!

Jade moves onto an empty plot of land in Magnolia Promenade—it seems like a good spot to start a business, after all. She goes fishing and makes §16 by selling two fish. Our first earnings!

With our hard-earned §16, we head to the Flea Market in San Myshuno. It's a long shot, but maybe we can buy something cheap as our very first possession!

Unfortunately, there was nothing at the Flea Market for §16, so Jade decided to work on her painting skill instead. Hopefully we can max it someday and cross it off as one of our three creative skills for this generation!

The city locals are friendly, and Jade is happy to make conversation with passersby. Networking is key to making a good business, and she needs to find someone to help kick off the legacy part of this legacy challenge, after all.

Jade entered a karaoke contest at the karaoke bar but didn't win. Maybe she can max out her singing skill, too, and come back to claim the prize someday?

The next day, after selling some posters she found in San Myshuno, Jade uses a public grill to make some baked potatoes for breakfast.

And then we got free money from a dead lady. Hooray!

We have a house thanks to the generous dead lady, and Julius immediately invited himself over to admire our rocking chair. I don't like Julius very much, but Jade does. It's a shame. She can do so much better than him.

Once she manages to shoo Julius away from the rocking chair, Jade gets started on her knitting aspiration. She's not very good yet, but that's what practice is for!

Jade also wants to learn how to tattoo, so we used the last of our simoleons to get her a tablet and start sketching a design. All in all, I think this legacy is off to a good start! Here's hoping I don't run into any more technical difficulties, and I can actually make it past the Broccoli Gen this time –.–

Jingjie doesn't give a damn about another Void corpse appearing out of nowhere. Not his corpse, not his problem. He's too busy cooking fine meals to worry!

Cooking is tiring work, though, so our boy needs some time to relax and unwind in the sauna after he's stocked up the pantry a bit.

Kwahu has a persona weapon, and we have a Persona Eltex Staff that I keep meaning to give to Tokori, so I imagine that Lansa probably feels a bit left out, especially considering he's the "melee" one of the Jones Boys.

This quest offers a persona zeushammer as a reward, so let's get Lansa some new gear!!

And just like that, Othello's heart attack is a thing of the past! He won't have to worry about having any in future, either, because bionic hearts are immune to heart attacks! Ha!

Hm. That's a dark topic of conversation, but I'm glad Dani seems to be getting along with her sister-in-law.

Kwahu is NOT having a good day, by the look of things.

I think Tokori, Tupelo, and Kwahu need a support group for "people who have to face their own evil Void-corpse"...

I like these travellers who just showed up and asked for beer without spinning some tale about "wanting to get their friend's captors drunk". Their honesty amused me, and so we gave them the beer they were after. I hope they find a new home soon.

Jingjie and Sneer are getting along, which is nice. Always love to see the family bonds in action.

Speaking of the Crowley-Foxgrove clan, baby Efa is doing well. She is a very giggly baby, always smiling and making the people around her happy. It's very sweet.

Oop, looks like Mechi's geriatric Great Dane needs another upgrade. Othello is sixteen now, and doing pretty well aside from this heart attack. Not to worry, though! Alistair is on the job!

The other Alistair (Alastor) in the colony is settling in well enough. After testing out the hot tub last time, Bell has decided to give the sauna a try, and Tupelo seems to have taken the opportunity to inspect that highmate "perfect body" for herself. Good for her, I guess!

Ok I fucking love Bell's hair OMG?? what mod is it from?? that gradient is amazing

Bell and Rita both have hairstyles from the VRE Highmates mod! Bell's hairstyle is the 'Danger' hairstyle, and Rita's is the 'Mia' style. I think Bell's gradient is just a side effect of the Gradient Hair mod, though.

Do you think that highmates (and anyone else with the 'beautiful-haired' gene) like to hang out and chat about the best shampoo and conditioner options to make their hair look fabulous? I bet they do. It'd be cute to see your resident catpeople getting into intense discussions about shampoo that makes their hair luxurious and doesn't irritate their cat ears.

While it may spurn Kwahu, and theyve had a little talk about it, I still find it funny to think of Bell having an unrequited crush just cause Kwahu is so straight forward and nice despite his misantropy. Even as an aroace who finds it really uncomfy when people *like me* like that. Maybe it’s just my love of tragedy/drama. He can get *over it* of course, but haha. Kwahu the heartbreaker!!

Also Lapu is being such a DAD about it with the ‘he’s cute huh?’ Just cause one of your boys came around the fluid sexuality bend doesn’t mean they all will daaaaddd! And I like it that the ‘nicer’ of the bros isn’t necessarily ‘more likely to be romantic’. The mean/cold/closed off = aroace trope can get old (though I love your boys and they’re more complex than that). Sometimes a nice guy can also be unavailable.

We’ll see tho! Keep an eye on them interaction bubbles! I wanna know if Bell ever flirts with annyyone haha.

I will be keeping a very close eye on Bell. I think Tupelo is our only unattached adult right now (other than Jingjie and Dani, but they're both only 13, which I barely consider "adult", and if 39-year-old Bell even thinks about it, we're outposting him), so I wonder if we'll get catboy/tree babies before the end of this, but eh.

And yeah, I can't resist the urge to have Lapu be a little bit of a menace sometimes XD. He tries to be tough and gruff, but Mechi and co. had to inherit their mischievous streak from somewhere.

More psycasts and fancier clothes, here we come!

Baron Kwahu wants a fancier hat... maybe it's time for a crown? He'd look good in a coronet, I think.

The Fallen Imperium just can't get enough of the Joneses! They're already asking Kwahu to be an Archon, and he's only just finished his Baron ceremony!!

In the meantime, they want to show their appreciation with some ✨presents✨

First up is a persona monosword named Stormcaller—an appropriate name for a weapon wielded by a lightning wizard, I think. Stormcaller has the 'engineer' trait, which means it will give Kwahu a helping hand with mechanoid and mechanitor-related projects. Perhaps it's time to start calling up mechanoid bosses again to get more mechanoid chips!

I think Kwahu would've been happy with just the cool sword, but unfortunately for him, The Fallen Imperium has another 'gift' to give...
