#HappyHalloween: Happy Halloween everyone!! I hope that you had a fun, warm, safe holiday and that you enjoyed some good candy to eat & give to trick or treaters!! This afternoon, I photo shot a Trunk or Treat event at the Grafton VFW in Grafton,NY for “The Eastwick Press” and spent some time shopping and eating sushi with my close friend, Amanda Vicente afterwards!! It was a good afternoon to be out and about covering local news and spending time with a good friend!! Thank you to my other good friend, Peggy Smulsky @peggy_smulsky for providing me the cat ears hair band for my Halloween outfit!! It worked out well for today!! I’m ecstatic to share the news that this past Tuesday, December 17,2019, “The Eastwick Press” received the 2019 “Good Service” award from members of both The Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce & Rensselaer County Office of Tourism for providing good service to the community in Rensselaer County. “The Eastwick Press” was one of four local businesses to receive this high honor. #WaybackWednesday: Happy “Wayback Wednesday” everyone!! Did you get a chance to pick up your copy of “The Eastwick Press” last week?! Be sure to pick up the latest edition of the newsweekly tomorrow when it’s out on newsstands!! Two weeks ago, I covered Grafton Lakes State Park’s Annual Halloween Trick or Treat Nature Trail event for “The Eastwick Press”! At the event, young trick-or-treaters created their own paper owl candy bags, took part in outdoor games & activities, and learned about the animals that are a part of the part of nature at this educational and fun Halloween event.
