Imagine being a Sovereign but were outcast because you had a "defect". By accident you landed on earth and the Avengers, especially Natasha, took you in. Loki, being taken prisoner and gravely wounded, was supposed to die but you took pity on him and saved his life. When he asked you why, you answer is because he reminded you of yourself.

Suleiman clenched his jaw, trying not to cry out at the way the pressure of Lily’s hands against his wounds sharpened his pain. “Well, isn’t this–familiar,” he chuckled ruefully despite how much it hurt to do so. “Always the one–getting hurt–aren’t I?” He closed his eyes for a moment–or maybe it was longer–and tried to just breathe, stifling the whimper that threatened to rise from his throat. “I’ll be–all right. Little thing like this–won’t do me in.”
